“Actually the show is more unique because it’s trying to be true detective. If it was an actual space epic, it would be far too similar to she-hulk or Superman” like do yall hear yourselves?

Being accurate to the source material would mean in this case making it another sci-fi action adventure hero franchise. We already have that, and its already been done in this genre. They are going for distinctness here, risk, and more importantly, effective storytelling.

Making it earth-based is literally risk-adverse storytelling. It’s an attempt to coddle the audience with comfortability and familiarity in the hope of not alienating the “adults” wouldn’t take it seriously if it were in space. It’s literally the SAFE version of the story.

People don’t wanna admit it but Lanterns is doing more interesting things in a grounded setting than just doing a safe space themed story.

I need you guys to understand how inorganic this is. A dude with 23 followers got 2.6k likes for lying about a bunch of movies. This app is cooked with anti Snyder bots and it’s been this way since 2015.

There were people literally getting mad that Green Lanterns fans were critical of a BROWN Green Lantern suit. Like let that sink in.

If i had a nickle for everytime Asa Germann joined a superpowered school for gifted youngsters, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice 🪙🪽

Nell Fisher or Mia Talerico would be great. If true I'd love to see what Mia can do these days. Good Luck, Charlie!

I’m pretty sure I’ve said Asa Germann wouldn’t work as Scott Summers but could make a great Warren Worthington III. Sometimes I swear Sarah Halley Finn’s assistants read my tweets lol. Now hear me out: Callina Liang as a Chinese-English Elizabeth Braddock, aka Psylocke.
