Pete Alonso met up post game with Mike, Nick & Chris - the trio of Mets fans who caught his 300th career home run.
They exchanged the ball for signed baseballs, bats and Alonso to sign their jerseys.

REST IN PEACE TO AN ICON:
Barry Melrose has passed away.
The former #NHL player and coach became one of hockey’s most recognizable voices during his decades as an ESPN analyst.
His legendary personality and love for hockey will never be forgotten.

I could never hear the ESPN NHL theme song without thinking of Barry Melrose. He did so much for the game of hockey. Everybody that knew Barry spoke so highly of him. You will be missed Mr. Melrose 😢
Barry was my best friend at ESPN. A big brother figure of rock solid values. I am shook to my core. Barry gave his life to hockey and some of his ESPN family, like me, learned of his shocking death today while at a hockey rink in Las Vegas preparing for the upcoming season. Chilling and fitting--the rink was Barry's home. A more beloved ESPN institution there has not been. We love you, Barry. Forever.

RIP to an absolute legend! LOVED growing up watching him with his analysis on @espn with @Buccigross and of course, these commercials! Which ANY hockey fan who doesn't know the Hockey Falls commercials from @budlight NEED to YouTube them! You will be sorely missed Melrose!

Barry Melrose picked the Flames back in November 2014 as the biggest surpise in the NHL. The Flames that year would be the "Find a Way Flames" with all their comebacks and making the playoffs for the first time in 6 years at the time.
RIP Barry.
