To be clear: the issue is not that #Democrats recruited another @DanSullivan into the #Alaska US Senate race. That kind of stuff happens. But senior party officials, DC-based lawyers, and the #Petola campaign repeatedly #lied about what they did.

It does not exist, meaning it is not mentioned in the U.S. Constitution. What did exist is an amendment prohibting the establishment of a national religion as well as a prohibition on federal laws preventing the free exercise of worship, even in a pandemic. – at Washington, DC
Congress never had power overtrade policy. Nor does it tell the commander-in-chief how to conduct a military campaign
NYT reports that among House Majority Dems' Day One priorities next year would be to pass legislation "to end Mr. Trump’s tariffs and restore congressional power over trade policy." nytimes.com/2026/10/23/us/po…

I just voted for Dr. Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan because of his support for Medicare-for-All and Palestine.
Healthcare is a human right, including in sharia law btw, which Dr. Abdul will fight hardest for.
I'm also sick of my wife crying at night bc of the stress I'm under from Trump and the genocide. From sea to shining sea all will be free. ✊

Yesterday in Brazil, a congressman from the ruling left-wing party took the floor to say that many more opposition members will be arrested.
The rule of law is clearly being undermined in Brazil, and political persecution is now being openly acknowledged.
Is Brazil still a democracy?

With a week to go before the midterms, voters want Washington focused on the cost of living, not AI regulation: 55% named inflation as a top issue and only 9% named regulating AI. And 68% want one national set of AI rules from Congress. Learn more at ⏩️ buff.ly/RGs0Bra

Steve Moore’s Unleash Prosperity had a great post on the failure of socialism: “
3) How’s That Democratic Socialism Working So Far in Seattle?
Seattle’s FOX affiliate reports that the city now has “the highest office vacancy rate in the country.” Some 35% of the offices in the Seattle Central Business District are empty with 20 million square feet of office space but no tenants. The city is now becoming known for “Zombie Towers”– near empty skyrise buildings.
Downtown office properties have lost half of their assessed value since 2020, which has raised property taxes on homeowners.
The Seattle jobs market – in what was once a high-tech mecca – has gone from boom to bust and new job postings have collapsed. Iconic Seattle-based companies from Starbucks to Amazon are moving jobs and people out.
Why?
Seattle has become a socialist hell hole. The Democrats raised the state tax rate on high-income earners from zero to 9.9% - so many business owners have exited stage right. Crime is rampant. The minimum wage is now above $20 an hour – killing small businesses.

The new mayor, Katie Wilson, an avowed socialist, lived with her parents and never had much of a real job, and has proven to be an ideological nincompoop.
Warning: this could be America in a few years if the Democratic Socialists keep taking power.

To state the obvious: If the @nytimes *only* wrote stories to help Democrats, they wouldn’t have written this one. My guess is they just guaranteed @DanSullivan_AK re-election. And they devoted a lot of investigative resources to do it.
Fantastic reporting by @nytimes @Kellen_Browning on Alaska Senate race.
Extraordinarily great writing too.
Will impact the race, I believe.
A lot of people seem to have reacted to being exposed by lying.
The reckoning will be ugly for @MaryPeltola

The #Democrats #MedicareForAll plan really means #MedicareForNoOne. Putting hundreds of millions of people on #Medicare would bankrupt it within four years. #UPN explains it here:

President Lulu used a very old election lawfare tactic to ensure his reelection by going to a friendly judge and asking that the polls be kept open long enough for him to receive the votes necessary to win. The judiciary here almost uniformly rejects such requests because they’re patently unfair. See my almost 2 decades old law review article on the issue:

Many in the publishing industry blame capitalism for declining readership while top publishers churn out increasingly conformist books. The real threat to our literary culture is gatekeepers deciding which ideas deserve an audience. Ideological filtering shuts out the voices needed to revitalize the industry.
