Today it's exactly 10 years ago since I founded @TheOceanCleanup - yikes! Am extremely grateful for all of you that helped to get us to where we are today.
The previous decade was about developing the solutions; the next decade is about getting the job done.

This little Lego life raft has just made landfall after nearly 26 years at the bottom of the sea. It was one of 28,700 that plummeted into the ocean from the Tokio Express back in February 1997. In fact, we discovered two washed up this week. A safe harbour at last. #oceanplastic

We won a Footprint Sustainability Drinks Awards!
Collecting the award for the 'Sustainable Use of Water' means a lot to us. Where industry standards required 8-10 pints of water for every pint of beer brewed, we require just 1 ½ pints of water to brew one pint of Small Beer.

Does anyone know how to get press coverage? A Glaswegian that illustrates maps of Glasgow. An introvert request and very much out of my comfort zone but would appreciate the extra coverage as social media reach is dreadful. Any advice appreciated

Imagine all new buildings in #Glasgow are required to have their roofs covered with plants or solar panels. It's a law in France now. Will it happen here? #NGSthink
France recently approved a law requiring all new commercial buildings to partially have their roofs covered with plants or solar panels. The rooftop gardens will insulate the buildings with their thermal mass and help filter water.
