É a maior derrota eleitoral da extrema direita na história mundial. Uma derrota nas urnas que entra para a história e mostra que o avanço da extrema direita não é inevitável.

Huge respect to the organizers, activists and voters of Brazil and Serbia. These results are due to so much work and they give us so much hope. There is nothing inevitable about the far right.

It's incredible watching the New York Times having to describe ethnic cleansing without ever using the phrase.

I can't tell you how many interviews I've done where I've been asked: If Trump's policies are so problematic, why are U.S. stocks rising so rapidly.
A bit of international context illustrates the real issue here.
U.S. stocks have dramatically underperformed other advanced economies.

Crowd: “She’s disabled! She needs a wheelchair!”
ICE: “Yeah she’s disabled now because she fucked around!”
ICE targets Democratic congressional candidate—who fights for disabled rights and relies on a wheelchair.

"I was tackled and my face just smashed into the ground super hard... this shiner will look 'awesome' when I go meet with my kid's school tomorrow."

I was sent this by a Georgian this morning. 2025 premiums vs 2026 premiums for someone making $65k a year.
Republicans in Washington did this.
This is what I'm fighting to stop. This is what’s at stake in this shutdown fight.

Trump’s tariffs on India may be partly explained by who funds his politics. Our study of two decades of Indian American lobbying in the US shows a strong, consistent Democrat lean, with Trump-1 scoring among the lowest ever share from Indian Americans (1/n)

The number one thing you should be doing right now is catastrophizing and panicking. Stop exercising. Stop reading books. Eat like shit. Fuck up your sleep schedule. Eschew fresh air. Doom scroll all day.

Thats my Gov and he has my vote. He is doing exactly what is needed right now. The days of clutching our pearls while criminals destroy our democracy is over. Need to get on their level and fight back

You know that everything falls apart like 2 seconds after this frame right?
Employment among American-born workers is up nearly 2M jobs since January.
Thank you @POTUS

I’m pissed, but mostly I’m just sad for the millions of people who will suffer because of what Republicans did today.
Many, if not most, are Trump voters. And most probably have no idea what this law will actually mean for them.
“Well, that’s what they voted for.“
“They should’ve known better.”
Sure, maybe. But the brunt of the pain will be felt by babies, kids, the elderly, the sick, the disabled, the poor, people who are barely making it, people who fled danger to save their children.
They don’t deserve this cruelty. No one does. Especially not in the richest country on Earth, where people with the most power just used it to make themselves even richer.
Donald Trump’s net worth has grown by $3 billion since January, but Republicans cared more about making him happy than they did about the people who sent them to Washington to make their lives better.
It should enrage all of us, but it should also motivate us to beat the everliving hell out of every last Republican politician in ‘26 and again ‘28.

Since there is talk about bringing back ASBESTOS (this is somehow true), I thought it would be useful to describe just some what happens to you when you breath this stuff into your lungs.
In short, it’s terrible.
