Seems pretty notable that despite all of the pivots to AI from miners, hash rate for bitcoin is quietly almost back at record highs
4 days ago I deposited $16.5k (0.2 BTC) to paper trade.
I got liquidated twice in the first hour and did a few other random high leverage transactions.
Today I withdrew $29k (0.35 BTC) from paper trade.
I'll keep my 1.6 mil PAPER staked until it becomes tradable.

Every trade you make on @fomo is public. Wallet finders unmask the rest, and copy bots buy right behind you.
Move your profits into Senddy, then fund a fresh Fomo account from it. Your new trades aren't linked onchain to your old one.

Fund your @HyperliquidX or @Lighter_xyz account without linking it to your wallet.
Senddy now deposits and withdraws across 11 networks, including Solana, Ethereum and Arbitrum, straight from your private balance.

Wishing the @payy_link team a fast recovery.
Senddy is not affected: our prover and verifier run Barretenberg v5.0.1, which includes the fix.
We review our systems and dependencies weekly, and we upgrade cryptographic libraries on every release, whether or not it comes with an advisory. Security fixes don't always get announced. We'd urge every team building in ZK to do the same.
We're also evaluating @worldcoinfnd's ProveKit as a second, independent proving backend, so no single proving system is a point of failure for user funds.
Post mortem for the September 24th, 2026 exploit of Payy's bridge contract.
Based on our investigation, it appears that an attacker submitted an invalid burn proof that Payy’s deployed Noir/Barretenberg verifier accepted.
The first burn released 1,828,589.378132 USDC from the Payy rollup even though it appears that the transaction was invalid. A second burn of 1 USDC was paid early by a burn substitutor and later reimbursed. The second transaction released 90,202.820016 USDC to the same receiving wallet.
It appears there was a proving-system vulnerability in the Noir/Barretenberg verifier, developed by Aztec.

Your infrastructure was compromised, so own up to it.
"Yeah but we didn't think anyone would RELY on that infrastructure" isn't an excuse

This is a known operational risk with Groth16. We chose universal SNARKs (Noir/UltraHonk) specifically to eliminate this failure mode — no circuit-specific ceremony means this entire class of vulnerability doesn't exist.
Privacy infrastructure shouldn't require a pinky promise.

Bitcoin’s “mysterious” underperformance (due to quantum) is the only story that matters this year. The market is speaking the devs aren’t listening

Bitcoin might be worth an infinite amount of USD.
During the Civil War, the south’s Confederate Dollar went through hyperinflation.
After starting 1:1 with USD, it ended the war at over 10 million to 1.
People lost faith and scrambled to trade their cash in for USD.
But now the US Dollar Index is having its worst start to the year in its 40 year history.
And if geopolitical tensions escalate to extreme levels, faith in the dollar may fall much farther.
Bitcoin, on the other hand, will continue to have open and transparent record-keeping and be easy to store.
And forget gold.
Gold doesn’t play in the same league as Bitcoin. It has real challenges around storage and transportation.
You can’t pay with gold at Starbucks.
Governments are already hedging against this future by holding Bitcoin in their strategic reserves.
So if the system breaks down you don’t want to be the one clamoring to withdraw cash from the bank or hoarding gold in your room.
You want to have enough Bitcoin to hold you and your family over for six months to a year.
Or, if hyperinflation happens, that Bitcoin might last a lot longer.

I was never really convinced Uniswap has a strong case to launch its own L2, a DEX can only thrive if the chain has a lot of assets worth trading ,and a new L2 virtually abandons that advantage.
Bridging assets over also creates a lot of friction, and bridging is generally the activity crypto users hate the most.
Yes, I heard about the argument of internalizing the MEV so that value doesn't get leaked to the underlying L1 or L2 but that alone isn't a strong enough factor to give up the asset-rich environment for a DEX to thrive.
Still very early days for Unichain but I think the window of launching a new L2 and L1 without a concrete GTM strategy and expecting it to thrive is over.
