Had grand plans for a long thread on this, but for now: check out runpile.com. A place I’m storing my LLM serving benchmark runs and you can too. The @nvidia RTX 5090 can serve an impressive amount of concurrent traffic. Interesting.

Did 817 benchmark runs of various models and configurations to see what my RTX 5090 could do. Was able to push them to around 10 req/s of a 1024 in / 256 out workload on some of the latest ~30B MoE models, while keeping TTFT under 1s. Will post more details and specific results later. Follow along if you’re 5090 curious.

We laid out our approach to AI yesterday and I'd love feedback and suggestions. In short: 1) Free, private chat via duck.ai, no account to create. 2) Concise answers in search results when relevant. 3) Easy to opt out of all of it.
Our approach to AI is to provide private, useful, and optional AI features – including chat and search instant answers – to people who want the productivity benefits of AI without the privacy risks. Don't want to use AI? No problem, we've made it optional by design. (1/6)

We just added o3-mini to Duck.ai (DuckDuckGo's private AI chat service where you can chat with popular models for free). It's pretty great, you should check it out -- no account needed!

Fun to watch Stripe take over online commerce one little piece at a time.
We’ve added support for custom domains in Stripe Checkout and the customer portal. stripe.com/docs/payments/che…

If I were a coder in my 20s again, I know exactly where I would go work right now. What an incredible moment.

Secret to good info diet: do a little upfront work to increase the % of info coming from people, publications, and communities you’ve chosen to follow or subscribe to, and minimize the % fed from an algorithm. P.S. short form video = most addictive format.
The new Apple Studio Display is sweet. If you get one, I suggest Fleetwood Mac’s “Never Going Back Again” as your test-the-speakers song.
