Broke into the country illegally on the back of a lorry. Lied to border force about his age. Never worked. Never contributed. Stabs an innocent dog walker to death in a frenzied attack. Blames his behaviour on seeing his father stab his uncle to death in Afghanistan when he was ten. Given a hospital order. How about the death penalty instead?

Bradford and Birmingham alone are costing us nearly £6 BILLION a year in benefits. This simply is not sustainable.

Jill Scott hit a new low on @WeAreTheOverlap this week. The others don’t even pretend to take her seriously anymore. They just laugh. Lawyer Paul Gilroy was breaking down the City charges and the appeal, saying the chair of the appeal board will almost certainly be a very senior figure — “a Lord or a Sir somebody”. Up pops Jill, serious face, serious question: “Do they check which football team they support? 🤦‍♂️ Gilroy: “Every member of the panel has to make a declaration, before the case begins.” Cue outright laughter from the rest of the desk, Carra especially. 😂 Gilroy then just mocks her: “Jill Scott’s application to be on the appeal board is… rejected.” 😭 She sits there looking sheepish. It’s getting cruel at this point. We get a clip like this every single week. Make it stop!

So the police lied to Nigel Farage by telling him that the cameras didn't capture Kerry after he tried to set his house on fire, despite there being plenty of footage of him. In doing so, Kerry was allowed to walk away with no charges or investigation despite there being more than enough evidence to do so. He then went on to murder Ann Widdecombe. Wow.
🚨 SUMMARY: Ann Widdecombe's murder suspect Joshua Kerry has been charged with a terror offence against Nigel Farage - It comes after Counter Terror Police reopened an investigation following Widdecombe's murder into an attempted firebombing at Farage’s home in April 2025 - Farage’s partner Laure Ferrari came home to find the front door damaged with a chisel or a crowbar and an empty can of lighter fuel in the porch, which had been squirted over the door - Farage believes the attacker was disturbed by a neighbour who had three large dogs and leaves for work at about the time the attack happened - Police interviewed Farage and Ferrari and seized 74 hours of CCTV from around the property - Detectives reviewed the footage but failed to identify the suspect and later closed the investigation, telling Farage the cameras had not captured them - When Counter Terror Police revisited the footage after Widdecombe's murder, they found the suspect and their car had actually been captured "over an extended period" - The detective who initially reviewed the footage is now being investigated by the IOPC over a potential "missed opportunity to protect the public" - Tonight, the CPS charged Kerry with preparing terrorist acts against Farage and others following a "hugely intensive" Counter Terror Police investigation

I am often asked what my priority would be if I was the prime minister. 1. Build 5 large modern day prisons. 2. While the prisons are under construction I would recruit 10,000 police and place them through a detailed training program to make their jobs recognised professionals. 3. While the prisons are being built.Recruit prison officers and make and pay them into respected professionals. 4. I would find the money by cutting back on military expenditure. In fact I would offer soldiers to apply for police or prison officer jobs. 5. My understanding of asylum seekers is that if they are trying to leave an oppressed county where they are in danger, they are supposed to go to nearest safe county. The people arriving on the shores of the UK have passed through plenty of safe countries. I would ask the Royal Navy to stop them arriving. Comments please . No jokers thanks Lord Sugar

Holy cow. Yet again.
I’m struggling to square Manchesterism with a potential return to the EU. Manchesterism is about taking power out of Westminster and putting it closer to our regions and communities. So how does that marry with handing powers back to Brussels? If we believe power should be closer to people, surely we need to explain why that principle stops at the national level.
