Dear songeetshilpis of Bengal A colleague of yours in Bengal was recently attacked by a gentleman by the name of Mehboob Malik for signing a song whose title is “Jaago Ma” and asked to sing something “secular”. In Bangladesh, mobs are attacking Baul singers and mobs destroyed musical instruments in Chayyanaut in Dhaka as part of attacking Hindu/Indian culture. I wonder what happened to your voice. It’s not that you don’t have any. Pre-elections, you are signing in unified chorus “say no to BJP”. You are seen on stage being scolded by Indias greatest renaissance figure and great leader for not being able to sing in tune. You ask who is KK, mocking Hindi culture while hopping up and down, praying to be given a Hindi singing assignment. So we know you exist. What happened Chandril? No smart remarks? Chandrabindu making songs on SIR but silent because they want to keep their “sar” on their shoulders? Anupam-babu, no chumpu song? Nachiketa… oh sorry… you are not really a singer at all. Why this silence? Can’t you channel your dustu kokeel and sing Ku Ku Ku ?
