Can I tell you guys a secret? I’m not a fan of my neighbor so I search “personal injury atlanta” and click on his sponsored link a couple times a week.

Me being mad is what the thread is about now. You see, your two sentence tweet said something that did not specifically apply to someone you didn't mention

As a man who lives in a dirty crowded city, with terrible traffic, and rides a motorcycle everywhere so he never has to worry about traffic or parking, it sure seems ridiculous to drive a car. Especially a person alone in a giant big car. Like using a huge sledgehammer to kill an ant

If you haven’t already started connecting the dots between the effort to dismantle public education and the effort to reverse child labor laws, it’s time to start.

Fun trivia. The people who wrote our Constitution weren't sure whether they were going to include a procedure for impeaching the President. Benjamin Franklin made the final argument to convince them. Want to know how he changed their minds? 1/3

Replying to @Gothamist
@NYCMayor Eric Adams has been mayor for 3 years. It was his policies that created a failed mental health system, a failed shelter system, and a failed criminal justice system. This is what happens when you defund every other agency and give all the money to NYPD.

A short thread on what refusal to comply can look like, with specifics, examples, and ideas for what the future may hold. Actually IDK if it's gonna be short, but it's gonna be specific, so read on if you're curious.

$9 is less than an LIRR *off-peak* round trip. what the fuck are we even doing here
On changes to congestion pricing, @NYCMayor says he spoke with @GovKathyHochul today. Drivers will be charged $9 now to enter most of Manhattan -- "...she heard the residents that stated the $15 was far too much but she also knew that we had a real capital problem."

A few years back in Yosemite there was a problem with bears getting into trash cans and ppl said ‘why not make the cans more complex?’ And a ranger said ‘bc there is significant overlap between the smartest bear and dumbest human’ and this election feels like that quote to me

One of the best things Democrats run cities can do is spend the next few years designing their cities so cars are optional. That way as car manufacturing/repair prices go up, consumers may feel less stressed with their pocketbooks because they feel safe to walk, bike, or bus.

Thank you Eric Adams and the City Council for making sure one (1) car can park here instead of the 10-12 people I often see eating here. Let’s always prioritize storage for cars instead of more vibrant uses of public space.
