This is what we are building @TryRivo would love to show it you @chadjanis
Whoever builds this idea first is guaranteed a $1B exit in two years.
@chadjanis just sold Gruns to Unilever for $1.2B. Here is his next top-tier idea that he's giving away for free:
The problem: your paycheck hits your checking account, then you need willpower to allocate it. Put 10% in savings, pay bills, invest, whatever.
Most people FAIL.
The solution: become the distribution layer between direct deposit and your bank account.
Before the money hits your account, it automatically splits:
20% → taxes (sitting in money market until tax season)
25% → rent/car payment/bills
15% → investments
10% → savings
What hits your checking? $500 for groceries
You never see the full amount. You can't fail at budgeting because there's nothing to budget.
This works for businesses too. Founders want guaranteed profit extraction. VCs want forced financial discipline. Everyone buys.
The infrastructure exists and the market is waiting. The first person to build this is getting acquired in 24 months.

Elizabeth Warren becoming the next Senate Banking Chair is a great example of what's so wrong with the @TheDemocrats.
The majority of the newly elected Dems like Talarico support Bitcoin.
But they will install the cranky old guard to make sure no real change happens.
Predictable.
Sushi anyone?
we have a winner for the most absurd AI startup ever
this Peter Thiel backed company uses AI robots to stab fish in the brain so they taste better and last up to 3x longer
it's called Shinkei and it modernizes a centuries-old Japanese technique
dozens of Michelin-star restaurants are already lining up to buy the fish
here's how it works:
> the problem is when a fish gets caught, it usually just suffocates on the boat
> that stress floods the meat with hormones and lactic acid, which hurts the flavor and texture
> the old Japanese fix for this was spiking the fish through the brain right after the catch, which stops all that
> but doing it by hand is impractical for most American fishing crews
> so Shinkei built a fridge-sized robot that sits right on the boat's deck
> the crew feeds in a fish and AI identifies the exact species, so it knows exactly where the brain and gills are
> the robot then drives the spike through the brain and cuts near the gills in about 7 seconds
> the fish goes into an ice slurry so the blood drains out
> so the fish doesn't sit there stressing out, and that tasty flavor and texture is preserved
example number 5,392,417 of how AI can be applied to literally anything
You can now chat with your money.
We're launching a new way to understand and manage your money, right from iMessage, WhatsApp, or the Rivo app.
@TryRivo already works in the background to put your idle cash to work and bring it back before your bills are due. Now, you can also ask questions, understand what's happening with your money, and take action through a simple conversation.
Since it knows your actual balances and bills, you get answers based on your financial situation, not generic advice. And you're always in control of every action.
Check out what we've built and give it a try👇
Your money has a phone number now 📞
Starting today, you can chat with your money in the @TryRivo app, on iMessage, or on WhatsApp.

black pill: enterprises are putting their AI transformation (and the most existential business risk/opportunity of a lifetime) in the hands of their IT department
SF’s Bottom of the Hill will live on under a new owner in 2027, with a longtime patron taking over the business and pledging to preserve its independent spirit, while the original owners will keep the building to help ensure it remains a music venue.

“That was interesting. I got to see what the NBA’s like, man. Lot of flopping, lot of foul-baiting, lot of crying to the ref. Interesting first game for me, for sure.”

Niko (my eng partner) and I have been building this out for the past couple of months. One page for the work you're proud of, without the LinkedIn noise. It's simple, it's free. If you make one, we'd love your feedback 🙌

If someone asked me 6 months ago 'what should kids going to uni today study', I wouldn't have a clue.
I now have a clear answer: electrical or mechanical engineering.
There are going to be billions of intelligent robots, sensors and devices of all shapes and sizes, for different purposes.
The diffusion will take over a decade.
The only other field that I would say is worth it is biotech or materials sciences, keeping in mind pretty much all research in the future will be done by AIs.
For everyone else, just go into sales. People like people. You'll get a good skillset anyway.

This is why I don’t think consumer agents will work

my prediction:
personal ai agents won’t monetize through monthly subscription fees.
they’ll monetize by owning the fintech stack and earning revenue every time their users spend money.
Instinct already measures internal performance based on monthly payment volume.
to monetize this they can:
> issue their own Visa credit card
> earn 2-3% interchange on every transaction
> negotiate bulk discounts directly with merchants
> take a percentage of the savings they generate
> earn yield on balances sitting inside the ecosystem
instead of charging you $20/month to use your personal agent, the agent becomes the interface through which you spend thousands of dollars every month.
if your agent books your flights, hotels, restaurants, and everyday purchases, owning the payment layer underneath becomes far more valuable than a $20/month subscription.
the biggest personal ai companies will end up looking less like software companies and more like fintechs.
personal ai agents + fintech will eventually blend into an entirely new category:
agentic finance.
