Imagine someone telling you 12 years ago that in 2026, college football fans would be mourning the death of the BCS. 🥹

Imagine if the AP Poll was invented today
“We ask overworked journalists who primarily watch one team’s games for their job to vote on who the best teams in the country are.”
You’d be laughed out of the room.
It’s archaic and shouldn’t exist in football or basketball.

Damn.......Chris Simms, my apologies. I was not familiar with your game.
He absolutely NAILED the stupidity of Ted Cruz going on ESPN's College Gameday last week to push that STUPID and RIDICULOUS "Protect College Sports Act".
His rick fuck buddies are mad that young (predominantly black) men can decide their worth, get paid thru bidding wars to ply their trade as players and choose what university they get tot play for...making these universities a fuck ton of money in the process. Ted Cruz and his ilk are engaging in a form of plantation owner mentality and it's disgusting to see it. I appreciate Chris Simms calling him and ESPN out for even giving this a platform.

Arch Manning is UNDEFEATED (10-0) as a starter at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium, including wins over THREE top-10 teams (No. 1 Ohio State, No. 3 Texas A&M and No. 9 Vanderbilt) 🤘🏻
He is the ONLY Longhorn starting QB to knock off THREE top-10 opponents at home in a career.

This is the Republican nominee for statewide office. Are other Republican elected officials going to condemn the intolerance and racism, or look the other way while it becomes normalized. This is how great political parties self-destruct. Sad.

Barry Melrose has passed away. One of the true media evangelists for the NHL. Rest in peace.
