For bumper to bumper city traffic and occasional highway drives ; would tell most people my age to get a Hyundai or Suzuki hatchback and sleep peacefully at home. 😅
Let's upset some car fans today.
A Toyota badge doesn't automatically make every Toyota the best buy.
A Maruti isn't automatically the smartest purchase.
A Hyundai isn't automatically overpriced.
A Tata isn't automatically unsafe.
Every car deserves to be judged on the actual product.
Which brand gets too much credit in India?
This is from F Tier - Lingarajapuram flyover yesterday evening.
Beautiful place unfortunately lacks planning around the railway track. It could have become the Kengeri of the North . Major opportunity missed .

Honestly, It never took me more than 90 mins to reach Airport from our place. Even if I travel by Airport Bus, Vayu Vajra. Our place is supposed to be farther when compared to many localities.
In iDTEC it was very peppy. The turbo lag wasn’t like DDiS so the power surge will come at 1200 rpm . It can beat any petrol competitor with single occupant . 😅
If you look down from the flyover - you can see the many African Tulip and Pink Trumpet trees planted by Horticulture department. The roots of these trees actually hold the shoreline together.
As the diagram shows ; heavy rains and the short tunnel will flood .

Sangeetha & Crescent are famous in Adayar. A2B had their 1st branch at Washermanpet. They're WAB.
Sells well mainly Creta spoils it’s sales.
Unpopular opinion: The Hyundai Verna might be one of India's best sedans on paper, but convincing an Indian family to buy one is a different story.
You get striking looks, feature-loaded interiors, powerful turbo-petrol options and a comfortable cabin.
But the average Indian buyer is thinking about something else:
❌ Will the low-slung sedan handle bad roads and steep ramps?
❌ Is the turbo-petrol worth it if most driving happens in city traffic?
❌ Will the family prefer an SUV's higher seating position?
❌ Does it make sense when the Hyundai Creta is also an option?
❌ Will sedan resale demand remain strong over the next 5–7 years?
The Verna makes a strong case for people who love sedans.
But does it make enough sense for the average Indian family spending ₹15–20 lakh?
Would you buy the Verna over the Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus or Hyundai Creta?
Or have Indian buyers become so obsessed with SUVs that even a great sedan struggles to win ?

It's interesting you've learnt the N word and the R word. Well played.
Please also learn professionalism. It's not professional. That's incorrect grammar.

Electric motor actually works in reverse the car . I loved how Dr Vikraman explained that there were 8 potential combinations - 4 from ICE gearbox and 2 from the electric motor .

GIF just for fun for @commentryboomer
Renault Duster Strong Hybrid might be the best SUV you can buy under ₹20 lakh if you actually enjoy driving.
160 PS. Real world fuel efficiency of 20+ km/l. Hybrid gearbox without e-CVT rubber-band feel. Brilliant handling, excellent ride quality and 212 mm of ground clearance.
All this at ₹16.99–19.49 lakh ex-showroom.
The best part? You don’t have to sacrifice driving pleasure for fuel efficiency.
We keep asking manufacturers for more powerful, efficient cars that are fun to drive without costing a fortune.
Renault has delivered exactly that. ❤️
Thar has to be excluded from the list .
It’s a very capable off-roader and tried and tested formula .
Even the mStallion petrol engines are very good ( don’t speak about mileage as it’s not that segment ).
Basically Thar Kaabil hain ; Grahak Jaahil hain (to paraphrase @sanket)
