Map reminded me of a trip up North. Another world. Kenya ingine. Eye-opener.
I have been to Dukana. Then upwards on that border line to Sabarei, Buluk, Illeret.
And crossed over to Ari for coffee and injera.
Map doesn't quite capture actual distances. Marsabit is HUGE!
Shockingly wrong column on Junior Starlets. Almost thought it's parody. Eh!
In journalism class you are told while a doctor buries their mistake, a journalist publishes theirs. So you must be keen.
Also, best to never comment on performance before competition ends.

Mistari imeenda shule. Constantly. #penziFM
Masterclass which has generated endless debate and think pieces on here has finally, predictably landed on Nonsense FM.
Lowbrow topics are a stronghold for Kenyans. Sigh.
So bright and sunshiny 7am feels almost like midday.
Dunno much science but have a good memory.
Sunday of Concours used to be first rains. Floodies was on a muddy pitch. October weddings were rainy.
Now October is competing with January sun? Eh!

I think there’s an amazing opportunity for storytelling,@StanChartKE, you just need to connect the dots… look at 1.The Runner 2. The beneficiary & the impact …..connect the stories & the cause becomes easier to advocate for……

The number of children attending public primary and secondary schools has doubled since 2003 (7 million to 14 million). The infrastructure has by and large remained the same. That it is not a big agenda item in all these years is a failure of the adults (politicos and voters).

Kenya has officially secured access to the Chinese market for dried chillies, opening a new export opportunity for local farmers and traders.
Now, before any exports begin, businesses must register their facilities and meet China’s food safety and plant health requirements

I need journalists to get back to analysis. It's not enough to report the loss. Give us reasons why this could be happening and map out different scenarios. Is it poor org leadership, or is it taxes and manufacturing costs? Lift the veil and take us on an analytical journey

Do you know about Standard Chartered Foundation? And Futuremakers?
They benefit the last from the proceeds.
There is a Stanchart foundation logo on the back of this year's tshirt

Should run a Medal Monday campaign where all race finishers don their medals the Monday after the race with pride.
Previously Stanchart Marathon was very clear and loud as to reason for the running.
Raising funds for The Seeing is Believing initiative.
In 2026, the reason for running is not clear (to me).
Reckon runners would be happy to shout about the cause they are supporting 🤷♂
