🗳 LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: My two gun safety bills cleared an important hurdle in Assembly Appropriations Committee today. This now puts us on track for a full vote in the Assembly on #SB915 to ban gun shows statewide and #SB1384 that will regulate federally licensed gun dealers.

Today is a tough day for every parent who sent their kids to school this morning. Until we address root causes of gun violence, what happened in Texas will happen again. As a Dad, I don't accept that. The time to enact stronger laws, substantive reforms, & real solutions is now.
