Andrew Huberman dropped a surprising take on Tom Segura’s podcast:
Nicotine itself is actually neuroprotective — it boosts focus, memory, acetylcholine, dopamine, and may help protect against Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
But here’s the catch: smoking cigarettes is still terrible (thousands of carcinogens), vaping has nasty chemicals, and dipping/snuffing isn’t much better.
