Crimes against women in AP are still high — 16,347 cases in 2025 alone, plus 1,879 POCSO cases. Murders of women, assaults, and marital offences continue in thousands every year.
Police data shows some decline from 2024, but the absolute numbers remain serious. The Disha Bill, which aimed for faster investigation and trials, was withdrawn earlier this year. With this scale of cases, stronger and time-bound measures are still needed to protect women and girls.

Under Jagan’s govt, TTD Srivani Trust sanctioned ₹10 lakh each for ~1,917 new temples (204 completed, 890 under construction by mid-2023), with plans targeting nearly 3,000 temples overall, mostly in SC/ST/weaker section areas. Dhoopa Deepa scheme expanded from ~1,561 to nearly 5,000 temples. Also reconstructed temples demolished in Vijayawada in 2016 under TDP + priest salary hikes.
On murders: NCRB data shows AP had 935 (2018), 879 (2019), 853 (2020) — consistently ~850-950/year across regimes. The “3600+” is just the multi-year total of ordinary cases (mostly personal disputes), not a unique spike.

Under YSRCP (2019-24): 3600+ murders, temple attacks, police used against opposition, and Jagan’s uncle’s murder still unsolved. No outrage then.
Selective silence then, selective noise now.

On infrastructure too — CBN couldn’t start & finish even one new port or fishing harbour in 15 years. Psycho started multiple ports & harbours and took them to advanced stages. Now CBN is only finishing them.
Forget finishing Psycho’s work.
CBN actually needs Jagan to come up with new ideas for AP’s development… so that he can copy them again.

Jagan did Amma Vodi, Rythu Bharosa, house sites, pensions, and a lot of direct cash transfers that reached crores of people. That doesn’t disappear because YSRCP got 11 seats.
Padayatra isn’t some special playbook he invented. Lokesh also followed his padayatra (one) and it worked for them. One election doesn’t make anyone a psycho.
