There are justifiable concerns that a conviction for *just* corporate manslaughter does not mean jail- time.
BUT a conviction under S3 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 CAN mean unlimited fines PLUS a jail term of 2 years.
So it's not impossible that *certain people* (and we all have a list) will face jail. 💚💚💚
Kensington and Chelsea Council has been referred for possible corporate manslaughter over Grenfell.
A council can be fined. It cannot be jailed. No individual has been charged.
72 people died. If accountability ends with an institution, that is not justice.

of worst-performing councils for financial and corporate governance in the UK.
22 local authorities out of 382 local authorities or 6% have missed the government’s 2025 audit dead line.
Basildon Council has let everyone in the borough down for years, hopefully this year with new leadership the council will finally set things right for Council Tax payers.
Following a public question to Basildon Council there is good news, the council may be on the road to recovery .
