I took some heat from insinuating baseball players were the best athletes
Looks like I wasn’t that crazy after all
People hate it, but track doesn’t transfer to sport as well as a lot of people would like you to think

While we’re on the subject of missed calls…
This before CJ Carr’s spike-fumble was delay of game and a pretty blatant example at that.
(Obviously, if Notre Dame doesn’t bungle the ensuing spike attempt it doesn’t matter)

What is this flopping delaying on the line of scrimmage by BYU? Weird. Herbstreit laughs it off as “shenanigans”

Clear PASS INTERFERENCE on the final play— everybody saw it, Herbstreit saw it, the video shows it.
NOT TO MENTION ONE SECOND LEFT ON THE CLOCK!
Same exact bullshit as the missed holding call against Texas A&M last year. Notre Dame got HOSED AGAIN. These officials are a TOTAL DISASTER. The worst officiating I’ve ever seen in college football. BYU didn’t earn that win—the refs gave it to them. SHAMEFUL!!!

The Florida St offensive holding call was not a foul.
The contact by the BYU defender was defensive pass interference.

Notre Dame also should’ve had 1 second left for one final play.
Watch the clock here:

There was actually 1 second left in the ND-BYU game.
Just horrifically officiated all around.
