There’s a word more Americans need to understand: TAQIYYA. It’s an Islamic concept that permits someone to conceal their religious beliefs when facing persecution or serious danger. It’s rooted in interpretations of the Quran, including verses 3:28 and 16:106. Americans deserve to understand what religious teachings actually say, not just what goes viral on social media.
