This is going to fall apart. They’re trying to intimidate voters. Trump’s DOJ is accusing states of registering thousands of noncitizens to vote. There’s just one problem. Their own evidence is blowing up in their faces. In Nevada, they claimed 16,000 noncitizens were registered. Then they produced just 185 names. Nevada checked every single one. All 185 were U.S. citizens. California is already finding similar problems, including people born right here in America.

Nithya Raman is hypocritical, opportunistic, and deflective, and she gets called out. Raman isn’t some outsider discovering LADWP’s outrageous utility bills. She’s been on the LA City Council since 2020 and served on the Energy and Environment Committee, which oversees LADWP policy. That puts her directly in the conversation about utility rates, spending, and the policies affecting Angelenos’ electricity bills. The obvious question: Where was Raman’s accountability while she was part of the very system she’s now criticizing? You can’t separate her criticism of LADWP from her own record of oversight.
