The WH has now taken over the social media account of the DOJ to protect him.
Asking MAGA and Republicans when is it enough?
Why are you silent?
Axios has learned the White House has begun managing the DOJ's account on X to respond to posts highlighting mentions of Trump in the Epstein files.
In typical administrations, there is a wall between the White House and what is supposed to be an independent Justice Department. axios.com/2025/12/24/epsteinβ¦

Q: Who have you voted for in the past?
Voter: Iβve voted for Donald Trump, Iβve voted for Greg Abbott. Republican my whole life.
Q: So why are you switching teams?
Voter: I am seeing what we need. This is what America needs. This is what Texas needs. We need someone like James Talarico.
Q: And you donβt think Ken Paxton can deliver?
Voter: Oh no, I donβt think so at all. I think heβs a criminal. And we donβt need someone like that representing Texas.

When he's not too busy getting kids killed in Ukraine or trying to buy a TX Senate seat for Ken Paxton, Elon Musk is busy spending $500,000 and counting to re-elect Mike Lawler in #NY17.
That should be all you need to know to help elect @CaitforNewYork.

Emiliano Andrade-Covarrubias, 56, was a lawful permanent U.S. resident who had lived in Dallas for decades. He raised three children who were born here and made his living painting apartments and townhomes.
He had diabetes, high blood pressure and a heart condition. When ICE detained him, he had his own medication with him. According to his daughter, staff refused to give it to him. She says his complaints of breathing difficulties and chest tightness were also ignored.
On October 17, Emiliano died in ICE custody.
ICE says he received proper medical care. The cause of death remains under investigation. He was the seventh person to die in ICE custody in Texas this year, and the 60th reported death during Trumpβs second term.
He was working and living with his conditions before ICE detained him. Now heβs dead in their custody.
His family deserves answers. So do we all.

When Trump started his war with Iran, 1,300 military family members had to flee Bahrain under missile fire. Now they canβt go back, and the Navy told them to find a new home somewhere in the US. Families are burning through savings, some tens of thousands of dollars, while they bounce between hotels and short-term rentals waiting on reimbursements that never seem to come.
This is the cost of a war no one planned how to end, or even properly begin.

Frumpβs Department of Revenge is targeting one of the hardest working politicians in Virginia because she fought against his fascist policies.
And bc sheβs a Black woman. When Black women fight fascism in this country, they are disproportionally targeted.
State Sen Louise Lucas owns a medicinal marijuana business. She is BELOVED here. This is retribution for her efforts to help redistrict Virginia.

This article broke my heart. This is what regular Americans are going through under Trump.
After the hottest summer on record, residents in Oklahoma are getting letters from their local utility giving them a fixed number of days to pay their summer bill or face disconnection.
NYT: ββThe summer had just ended, and they had just gotten the bill for all of that electricity, and it was far more than their monthly income, almost $1,500.
It also came with a bold lettered disconnection notice that said they had nine days left to pay.
My colleague Eli Saslow says that for the couple he met, Genia and Darryl, it's not just about the lights may be going off.
A disconnection would mean they also couldn't run the oxygen machine or the CPAP they depend on. Eli says he saw how the couple tried to limit their electric bill by more or less moving their whole life into the living room where the AC is, hanging curtains from the doorways to keep the cool air in, sleeping there, eating there, but all that still wasn't enough.β
The couple tried to go to churches charity thrift shops, tried to get doctors notes, to help pay the bill, but everyone was overwhelmed by clients having the same issue, and facing having their electrical turned off.
The utility said they needed the higher rates to perform maintenance on their system, in part to keep up with increased demand coming from data centers:
βBut the utility company in that part of Oklahoma, which is called PSO, says it's facing its own pressure.
The grid is old and needs updating. These hot summers also are straining electrical companies because they need to provide more power. And also, there are a huge number of what they call large load customers coming onto the grid.
These are new businesses and in some cases, new data centers for artificial intelligence that are going to increase the demand for electricity like never before.β
What an incredible and heartbreaking story about what regular Americans are facing.

I love this film. @sandibachom had it all in the 1970s. She was one of the most sought-after commercial producers working with the world's biggest brands β and in deep denial as she slid into addiction. Then unemployment. Then homelessness. In search of a second act, she bought a camera and started covering the news.
At 70, Sandi received her first press pass.Β
She discovered her new mission β and a chance at redemption β in Charlottesville, where she covered the violent Unite the Right rally.Β
She is one of the most recognized independent journalists chronicling American extremism, with all the risk that entails, including broken bones and endless streams of threats.Β
At 82, sheβs still bearing witness!
