Being silent doesn’t mean you’re weak. It’s strength under control. When you know who you are, when you’re confident and secure, you don’t engage in battles that don’t matter. You don’t spend your time defending, arguing, proving. You protect your peace. You walk away when you could argue.

Some publishers in the US, Canada, Croatia, and Italy are using #AISystems to research, write, fact-check & manage newsroom workflows.
Unlike traditional news aggregators, which primarily collect & republish information from existing sources, these so-called #AINative newsrooms are attempting to replicate parts of the editorial process itself.
These systems are built so they can monitor sources, research, cross-check information, write articles & even make editorial decisions themselves....

Temwa Chawinga is the first African woman to make the top 10 of the Women’s Ballon D’or.
No African woman has finished higher than 12th before. Zambia’s Barbra Banda set the previous high-water mark with 12th place in 2024 and 14th in 2025. Temwa herself finished 17th in her first nomination last year. Her older sister Tabitha (now at Lyon) finished 16th in 2024.

Dear @KwasuOfficial, @JAMBHQ,@channeltv,@mobilepunch,@thecableng,@premiumtimesng,@LACON,@DPA,@NBA,@NHRC,relevant human rights and legal aid organisations,
We urgently seek intervention regarding the 2026/2027 engineering admission situation at KWASU.
Many candidates received official admission notifications and paid ₦35,000 acceptance fees. Some, including candidates who travelled from Lagos and spent hundreds of thousands of naira preparing for resumption, are now being advised to change courses because their JAMB admissions are not being processed.
We respectfully request an official explanation, a review of affected admissions, and fair consideration of refunds and documented financial losses.
We appeal to legal aid organisations to help us understand our rights and available remedies.
Please hear the affected students.

"Julius..the PDP candidate..during the last..elections.. was asked to step down for the APC candidate, and he did..the Minister promised to recommend him to the President for an appointment as the FCT Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) chairman."
A lot to unpack here.
Julius, the man standing beside the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, was the PDP candidate in Bwari Area Council, during the last FCT Area Council elections. He is an indigene of the Territory being a Gbagyi man.
Despite being popular and very formidable, he was asked to step down for the APC candidate, and he did.
During the Town Hall interactive meeting in Bwari last week, the Minister promised to recommend him to the President for an appointment as the FCT Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) chairman.
You can see the reactions of the people.
That's leadership.
You cannot follow Wike diligently and be left stranded.
