not only am i not worried about the crypto community's ability to handle the upcoming ai/quantum threat, i will venture to say that in the next 2 yrs the world will realize crypto is far better prepared for it than the rest of the internet and finance. we've had a trillion dollar *irreversible* honey pot for a decade, producing a far more battletested system and adversarial security culture than pretty much anywhere else on earth.

The crypto larp is very similar to the ecom larp.
An ecom guy tells you he makes $1M a year, but doesn’t mention he spends $800k on ads and $200k on production and shipping. Bro is breaking even and calling revenue income.
Then he flexes business class flights and luxury hotels paid for with the Amex card points he farmed spending all that money on ads. You see the lifestyle and assume the business is printing.
Crypto larpers spend every penny looking like they made it. That image gets them course sales, partnerships and paid promos, which fund the lifestyle they then use as proof that you should listen to their next call.
Meanwhile, some barely made anything investing in crypto. Some don’t even hold any. Their followers take the risk while they get paid upfront regardless of the outcome.
A lot of people in this industry can afford the photo. They cannot afford the life they are trying to sell you.

Most people think that hitting a number like 1M or 10M will change their happiness level so they desperately chase the next 100X without realizing that they will be the exact same person just with more money (and maybe more degeneracy) but probably not much happier than now
The key to happiness is not in reaching a number (that game is endless), it’s finding your thing (passion / purpose / being locked in) and grinding at it every single day with a noticeable improvement if you measure progress every 2-3 months
Once things start working well, youll realize that - unironically- the happiest moment was right before the inflection point, when things started to work out after months or years of improvement but before things are in “full blown mode”
Money should never be the goal, it should be the consquence of you having found the thing you love and could do every day for the rest of your life even if paid little to do so
Thats how happiness is “reached”, its all in the process, its being locked in on something you love, never the goal itself
And thats why no number or 100x will change anything
