Voter registration should be based on domicile, not residence. You can only have one domicile, and it is based on intent to permanently remain. This is most easily evidenced by things like obtaining a driver’s license, which is active submission to a new sovereign’s jurisdiction (in a republic, the people are the sovereign), and relinquishing ties to/jurisdiction by the old sovereign. If you have not taken active steps, with demonstrable proof to buttress them, to cast off prior political membership and show intent to join another, you should not be allowed to participate in the other’s political processes. Voting rights are political rights, which fundamentally, exclusively, and intrinsically flow from membership in a body politic. If you have not even tried to become a member of a local political body, but merely lay your head at night within its territory, you are no more entitled to vote in their elections than a bird who happens to nest there, or a gust of wind passing through. Any other situation undermines the basis of citizenship at a fundamental level.
Fun fact: 42% of UVA students are from out-of-state. I wonder how many will remain here, live, work — contribute to our Commonwealth. Or, will they go “home,” wherever home may be for them. And leave us with the ramifications of a free slice of pizza one sunny afternoon on the lawn? But hey, you know, whatever it takes right, Democrats?

We have resisted “going there” as long as we could. We truly believed in achieving a colorblind society. We desperately wanted the aspirational maxims we were taught in middle school civics to be true. However, our kindness, our tolerance, and the rest of our virtues have been weaponized against us… and our patience is wearing thin. Things change slowly, then all at once. Expecting a dam to break here soon.
The first pro white commercial aired on television in over 70 years, due to oblivious anti white hatred across America and the world.

Another person has died in ICE custody — this is the 28th known death this year. The cruelty of this rogue agency is beyond unconscionable. Abolish ICE.

RE: France… Napoleon would have ended this shit by now.

This painting doesn’t get close to depicting what’s happening in France. I think this one, from the siege of Vienna by the Ottoman Turks comes much closer…
This is France’s most famous painting. It shows a violent revolution with barricades, armed civilians, and dead bodies. Acting shocked that France has street unrest is peak historical illiteracy.

You have causality backwards. Crime creates poverty. Nice neighborhoods are nice because they are populated by people who don’t destroy. Neighborhoods populated by people who destroy are destroyed physically, economically, etc.

Important caveat that ought not be necessary, but is in today's day and age... Not everyone who is in a bad neighborhood is destructive. But when your neighborhood has a critical mass of destructive people, well, it will be destroyed.

DEI is about forced diversity and inclusion of those from historically “marginalized groups” unrelated to (or even in spite of) someone’s individual qualifications, for the explicit purpose of altering/augmenting a group’s overall makeup. Considering someone’s individual background when considering their individual qualifications is inherently about considering a specific individual’s capabilities without respect to the group’s overall makeup, and isn’t about ensuring “marginalized groups” are part of a group. Fundamentally different. One is about the group makeup, one is about the individual’s qualifications.
If you oppose DEI consider the following: Student 1's GPA is 3.9 but has rich parents, world class schooling & tutors Student 2's GPA is 3.8 but is poor & his neighborhood is filled w/ crime & bad schools Should 2's circumstances at least be considered in admission decisions?

As a thinking person: the barbarians didn’t burn down the building to save their lives. They burned down the building because they are barbarians.

Friendly reminder: Descriptions are not explanations. Explaining the moment of inertia for rotation as “mass times radius squared” doesn’t actually explain WHY inertia has is related to the square of the radius (for example, as opposed to the radius). People constantly forget this, or perhaps don’t actually understand this.

Close… here’s actually why.

The older I get, the more I realize that a massive share of what my elementary school civics teachers taught us is complete leftist revisionist crap. Meanwhile, there is a gigantic cohort of people who believe this drivel with essentially a religious furor. And, the more I read the founders, the more I think we should return to what they REALLY believed. “With equal pleasure I have as often taken notice, that Providence has been pleased to give us this one connected country to one united people—a people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manners and customs, and who, by they their joint counsels, arms, and efforts, fighting side by side throughout a long and bloody war, have nobly established general liberty and independence.” John Jay, Federalist Papers No. 2
Nothing more anti-American than the idea we are a blood and soil nation as opposed to a creedal nation. Kinda missing the whole point of the project!

The underlying mathematical claim is not incorrect: a statistical measure of within-population genetic variance cannot account for genetic differences that have been deliberately excluded from the population. But this is almost tautological. It’s like saying, “If I divide a population into groups in which everyone has identical income, income inequality within each group will be zero, even though enormous income inequality may exist between groups.” That’s correct, but it hardly demonstrates that within-group measures of income inequality are fundamentally defective. Rather, it demonstrates that THE SCOPE OF A STATISTICAL CALCULATION DETERMINES WHAT THE CALCULATION CAN TELL US. Duh. Obviously. Lewontin deliberately constructed populations with zero internal genetic variance, calculated a statistic measuring the contribution of genetic variance within those populations, and then presented the resulting zero as though it reveals something profound. The math isn’t wrong. The profundity of the purported revelation is.
In 1970, Richard Lewontin defeated IQ hereditarianism and Arthur Jensen's claims of genetic racial differences in intelligence. In this new post, I tell the story of how it happened. Relevant to current "race realism" and "race science" claims. jayjoseph22.substack.com/p/h…

Maybe the fact that you can’t coexist with people who disagree with you is the bigger problem… Perhaps the Nazi you think is under your bed is actually in your mirror…

Don’t go to yoga unless you actually genuinely enjoy yoga, and don’t start asking women there out unless/until you’re going for yourself because you enjoy it. Work on yourself first. Lift weights. Eat better. Develop some genuine interests/hobbies/skills/passions, and actually practice them. As you develop yourself and your genuine interests/etc., you will start to meet women who are in those circles. DO NOT FORCE IT. As you meet women with whom you share interests/passions/etc., do not force it with any one of them. You’ll know when you’re both interested in something other than the shared interest. Women value the superficial, sure, but a genuinely competent MAN will always win out over a superficially hot BOY. And if one particular woman is valuing the boy stuff over the man stuff, she’s not the right one. Get your shit together. Job. Finances. Investments. Have at least a general notion of your life’s trajectory. Don’t simp. Don’t bend the truth or lie about fundamental things. If you want kids, but she says she doesn’t, be honest. Etc. Don’t think of finding a woman as being the thing needed to “make” your life or “fix” all your problems. A properly constructed relationship is a man leading and building, and the woman filling in the details. Don’t move towns, or jobs, or whatever for a woman, if she’s the right one, she will do that for you. Be strong and firm, but also kind and caring. Have the backbone to say “no,” or to speak your mind. But do not be insensitive or callus. Sometimes she doesn’t want to change your mind, she just wants you to listen and understand.
OK I'll bite. If Chris's advice is so bad/outdated, who has the good, modern dating advice for young men? Nothing gross, please.

Why are you talking about this as a gubernatorial candidate, especially when you’re so out of touch with the base on it?

The soil here in Arlington, VA is terrible. The harvest of my pepper plants is inversely proportionate to the instant edibility of the pepper variety. I have only grown one bell pepper thus far, 6 jalapeños, and probably 40-45 habaneros. Can't wait to tend more fertile soil

Gay men. Written by women. Couldn’t be more funny if they tried… Kamala Harris’s campaign was a real-life, political campaign version of “the Producers.”
Today marks the two-year anniversary of the worst political ad ever aimed at men. The pro-Kamala “I eat carburetors for breakfast" train wreck. No one knows what that means. No man talks like that. A prime example of why Kamala Harris lost.
