I've lived in the UK since 2019: 5 years of study at intl fees (up to £36.5k a year), over £300k spent here. I've worked, paid NI, tax and never claimed benefits. My husband, career, friends and cats are all here. Yet none of my years count towards settlement. #EarnedSettlement
