nobody writes about the boring part of blockchains
vveryone talks about consensus, tokenomics, fancy execution layers
llmost nobody talks about how data actually gets from one node to another when the network is jammed
It’s not pleasant. but it’s one of the biggest things limiting how fast a chain can go
doesn’t matter how smart your consensus is, your chain can only move as fast as its slowest data path
that’s the part @get_optimum went after first

The universal token standard for every type of asset on Bitcoin.
"Tokenization should be agnostic from the transport layer, but I think RGB could be a very good product for that."
@paoloardoino on @stephanlivera's podcast, talking about tokenized securities and why peer-to-peer protocols like RGB can scale.
Read the Overview of zkTLS page in the @primus_labs docs today.
zkTLS can run in two main modes:
> MPC mode: the attestor and user set up the TLS session together, so the user can't tamper with the data
> Proxy mode: the attestor sits in the middle, records the encrypted traffic, and the user proves what's inside
Proxy can be faster, but it adds an assumption: the attestor must be sure it's talking to the real server.
Primus gives devs one unified API and lets them pick the mode per app, and neither mode needs the website to change anything.
imo that matters, since a payment app and a social app need different tradeoffs.
Which mode would you pick for payments?

For years, the crypto industry accepted a painful premise: decentralization always comes with a performance tax.
Across every interview/podcast recently, @get_optimum CEO Prof. @MurielMedard has maintained one unwavering thesis: decentralization was never the bottleneck - data propagation was.
Optimum is delivering on the original promise of decentralized networks without compromising on speed or trust:
1. The Real Bottleneck
Consensus algorithms and hardware compute aren't holding back Ethereum. The real constraint is coordination: getting the right data to globally distributed validators in time. If validators are the factories, Optimum is the neutral, decentralized logistics layer connecting them.
2. Math-Backed Decentralization
Traditional wisdom says decentralized coordination is inefficient. Muriel’s over 20-year research in Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC) proved the exact opposite: decentralized data distribution can match and even outperform - centralized systems.
3. Mainnet numbers speak for themselves.
Speed without predictability is meaningless. On Ethereum mainnet, Optimum delivers:
📍2-3x faster block propagation
📍8x reduction in jitter (timing variance)
By eliminating latency uncertainty, validators no longer have to play it ultra-conservative out of fear of missing deadlines. They can wait for higher-value execution layer rewards, directly boosting staking APY and network health.
4. Open-Access Infrastructure
To keep Ethereum credibly neutral, acceleration cannot be gatekept:
📍100% FREE for all validators - no tiered services, no throttling, no paywalls.
📍Built as a non-invasive sidecar that requires zero changes to core consensus.
📍Monetization happens purely on top via advanced trading & MEV services, creating a net-positive flywheel for the entire ecosystem.
As Ethereum targets faster block times and massive scaling, Optimum is proving that we don’t have to centralize to scale. True decentralization isn't a tradeoff - it's the optimal architecture when the underlying math is done right.
Prof. Muriel gave an illustrative example that couldn’t be more accurate 👇
Ethereum’s infrastructure as a supply chain (and any chain later):
📍Validators are the factories (highly performant nodes)
📍Optimum is the logistics layer bringing goods to and from the factories
Optimum provides a decentralized, universal data acceleration layer for blockchain, powering the entire decentralized supply chain.

the older i get, the more i realize luck is just exposure.
you have to put yourself out there to win.
travel more. talk to strangers. try a new coffee spot. talk to the cute girl on the street. talk to the old lady on her walk. chat with the buisnessman at the bar. post on social media. start a side hustle. create a new hobby. join a group activity.
if you stay in the same routine, around the same people, doing the same thing, nothing will ever happen
you create opportunity by allowing more tbings into your life. go out and be bold. the world rewards motion.

Optimum Community Call Recap - November 5, 2026 ♾
🎙️ Host: Jeff - Adminstrator
📝 Note: Pegasus
I knew about this a bit ahead of time, but I honestly can’t describe the mix of emotions I’m feeling. 👇
⚪️ @blockchainjeff announced that his last day at Optimum would be the day following the call.
He expressed gratitude for his time with the project, stating that the Optimum team was the "best team, hands down" and the "most capable team" he had worked with in his nearly 10 years in Web3.
He confirmed he would remain active in the community on X and Discord but would no longer be hosting Community Calls.
⚪️ Jeff introduced @discordflash as the new primary point of contact for community-related matters and campaigns. He assured the community that they would be in "absolutely great hands" with Flash and the existing Moderator and Ambassador teams.
⚪️ CMO @EliLaipson thanked Jeff for his significant contributions, specifically highlighting the Treasure Hunt campaign as a key initiative that helped launch the community.
⚪️ Halloween Meme Competition Winners
📍The winners of the Halloween meme competition were announced. The Moderators and Ambassadors selected 10 winners from a large pool of creative submissions.
📍TurboCards Codes have been distributed to winners immediately after the call.

P/s:
Jeff has shared that he’ll be leaving Optimum to pursue other ventures, and this has nothing to do with any negative speculation circulating outside.
Send Jeff some love with our signature Dududu sticker, and let’s wish him all the best on his new personal journey. The Optimum community will miss you a lot, Jeff.
Let’s also give Flash our support as he steps into the new role. We've just launched on Ethereum mainnet over a week, with so much still to come, so keep your energy high. ♾
Optimum Community Call Recap - October 22, 2026 ♾

Sorry for late recap, but I don’t like to publish anything unless I’ve had the time to refine it properly. I also think the recaps are worth keeping as a reference for everyone, so bookmark them if they’re useful to you.
This week CC celebrates the launch of Optimum on Ethereum mainnet, marking a significant milestone. The primary purpose is to announce the release of TurboCards, explain the distribution process, answer community questions, and thank contributors.
⚪️ @get_optimum is now live on Ethereum Mainnet, making the network open to any validators or operators.
"Now that we're on Ethereum mainnet, it means that our network is open to any validators, any operators out there who want to take part and help to boost Ethereum - data across Ethereum, data acceleration across Ethereum."
⚪️ Validators and operators are encouraged to participate:
📍Visit the Optimum website, Hub and Console.
📍Sign up to help boost and accelerate Ethereum data.
⚪️ TurboCards Collection: A 999 NFT collection commemorating Optimum's mainnet launch on Ethereum. These NFTs feature beautiful artwork and stats on how specific blocks were sped up by the Optimum, with different rarities.
⚪️ Key Characteristics:
📍No monetary value: The cards are explicitly stated to have no value.
📍Soulbound Tokens (SBTs): Once minted into a wallet, they cannot be transferred, shared, or sold.
📍Purpose: Solely for fun and as a collectible piece of artwork.
⚪️Distribution Details
📍Total supply: 999 TurboCards.
📍First wave size: Approximately 400 codes.
📍More drops for Refined and higher roles.
📍Subsequent waves: Additional drops will occur for other roles, including Real OG and Observers.
📍X giveaways.
📍Future Community Calls with additional drops.
📍Use the TurboCard support channel in Discord server for minting issue.
⚪️ Strong Warnings about Scammers:
📍Only use official links and sources.
📍The team will never DM asking for funds, private keys, or wallet details.
📍Fake versions of Jeff exist on Telegram and Discord. Block them!
⚪️ First Drop Eligibility: The first wave of 50 codes is exclusively for users with Refined and Chronicler/Optimized roles, prioritizing the greatest contributors who have proven sustained activity.
⚪️ The server has been aggressively purged from approximately 200,000 members down to 40,000 to ensure only active, legitimate users remain.
⚪️ Post-Mainnet Strategy:
📍Chain Expansion: While currently on the Ethereum network, Optimum will explore other chains and work with validators to boost those networks.
📍Flexnodes: A highly anticipated feature, but uncertain if it will launch this year due to the team's current focus on Mainnet setup.
⚪️ Upcoming Events:
📍Mini Event: Announcement expected next week, with a giveaway.
📍Additional Community Calls: Potentially two calls next week (including the normal Thursday call), each with code drops.
📍Lord of Treasure: Cool news coming for participants in this program.
⚪️ A new role will be created for users who mint a TurboCard and post about it on X, tagging Jeff, an Mumbassador, or a MOD. Let's show off your TurboCards.
blackline keeps its client list small, and there’s a reason for that
@raikucom explains that co-location has limited capacity, every new client uses some of it
taking on too many clients would mean making promises they can’t keep
so instead of serving everyone, blackline focuses on a small number of trading firms and asset managers
a priority fee is a bid. you pay extra, so the validator likes your transaction more
that gives you a better chance of getting in
but the fee doesn't change where your strategy sits next to the validator. and if everyone pays more, nobody is ahead
@raikucom says co-location gives you a spot that doesn't depend on what others pay
