It's almost like earth was perfectly created for human beings, literally water falls from the sky and food grows on trees, but somehow we find ourselves trapped in a machine that requires credit scores and a 40 hour work week for existence.

It’s kinda crazy to me that we melt sand down, clean it to 99.99999% purity, literal wizards have to draw it slowly into an ingot, we cut it, inscribe a hundred billion little on/off switches on it, and when you run electric current through it you can do basic arithmetic, which when you do enough of it can do any math on the planet, and which describes reality well enough that we can teach it the ontological meaning of words and their distance from each other on a high-dimensional space, and if you ask, it can tell you what word comes next and that apparently is powerful enough that if you do it a hundred billion times it’s the smartest thing to ever exist oh yeah and we use this primarily for email

You can be globally compassionate as a person and still feel that your society should have careful borders and that local cultures matter, and should be preserved if they're clearly doing well. These actually aren't in contradiction.

This morning when I woke up, I thought it was 7:30am, so when I took off my eye mask, I was surprised to find it was only 4:30am. But I felt awake. Not only that, I felt ENERGIZED. I have not felt anything upon waking other than utter exhaustion for at least a decade, but probably more like 16 years. Last week, I did Function Health Labs, which are super comprehensive. I started getting results back Saturday, fed them to a private AI, and it was freaking out about how I have no energy. YOU GUYS -- I'm a carnivore and I am ANEMIC. I have eaten red meat 🥩🥩🥩 for 99.99% of my meals for the last two and a half years, and I'm ANEMIC -- wth ferritin stores above 240! (This is so high, it was marked as dangerously high on Function Health.) It diagnosed me with anemia of chronic inflammation, which I hadn't heard of before, but it explained to me a question I had meant to ask a doctor -- why one iron marker was low when another was high and I was eating so much red meat -- but that doctor missed it because she preferred to spend our appointment time lecturing me about how I needed to eat greens even though I told her that eating this way was making me feel BETTER 🙄. (Pro tip if you're a doctor: if a patient who has been incredibly sick for over a decade tells you something they are doing is making them feel better, BE A HUMAN AND BE EXCITED FOR THEM and don't be a fucking idiot and tell them to go back to eating the way that made them feel worse.) I spent all weekend talking with the AI about my lab results, and it told me which supplements to take, including a few I already had on hand that it said would help. The main one it said I needed I had to order, and it will arrive next week, so I haven't even been able to take the most important one yet. DESPITE THAT, just taking the one I had lying around for the last seven days allowed me to FEEL ENERGY UPON WAKING!!!! Is this what it feels like to be a normal human?!?!?! Feeling energy upon waking made me want to cry. I feel so gypped!!!! I can't believe I'm only 7 days into what I need to do to get over this, and I am not exhausted and fighting to get through the day 😭 If I weren't so fucking excited, I think I'd be crying, but seriously, WTF. Western medical doctors and the healthcare system are so fucked. Yay for comprehensive labs and AI!!!

"SUPERCYCLE" is just another way to say BTC breaks out of 4 yr cycles and follows global macro markets. No asset in history has followed a programmatic clock except BTC. BTC's supply shock is now TOO SMALL to make a difference. → BTC follows global macro here on in.

⚡️The next great economic divide will be between those who own productive energy and those whose labor that energy can replace. That is where the implications of this chart become extraordinary. For thousands of years, human beings were indispensable to production. Energy powered tools, but people supplied the intelligence, judgment, and coordination required to operate them. AI changes that relationship. A megawatt of electricity increasingly powers something capable of performing intellectual work. Connect that intelligence to robotics, factories, logistics, and automated infrastructure, and electricity begins substituting for an expanding range of human labor. For the first time, economic output can grow dramatically without requiring a corresponding increase in human participation. Now consider what happens to bargaining power. Historically, nations needed productive citizens to become wealthy. Education, employment, wages, and population growth were essential economic inputs. An advanced automated economy can increasingly generate output through capital, energy, and machine intelligence. The government collects taxes. Corporations generate profits. GDP expands. Meanwhile, the economic necessity of employing large numbers of people diminishes. A country could become richer than any civilization in history while an increasing share of its citizens becomes economically unnecessary to its production system. That is the contradiction this chart cannot capture. And the ownership question becomes decisive. A person who owns power generation, automated production, computing infrastructure, or equity in the companies deploying them possesses claims on increasingly autonomous output. A person who owns only their labor faces competition from machines whose capabilities improve while their operating costs decline. That can produce extraordinary prosperity alongside extraordinary concentration of wealth. The decisive variables will be productive energy availability, machine efficiency, infrastructure ownership, and who receives the resulting income. And here’s the conclusion: Humanity is approaching a point where the machinery of civilization can become increasingly productive without needing most of humanity to operate it. That could liberate billions from compulsory labor. It could also concentrate economic power among those who own the machinery. The physical constraint is energy. The political constraint is ownership. The question that will define the next century is whether humanity owns the intelligence-powered civilization it creates, or merely lives inside an economy owned by someone else.
Energy capacity = economic capacity, in one chart There are no low electricity, rich countries

⚡️The United States is becoming increasingly dependent on protecting the market for its own debt. Follow that to its conclusion. The dollar system rests on a peculiar arrangement. Washington issues liabilities, and the rest of the financial system treats those liabilities as its safest collateral. Banks finance against them. Dealers warehouse them. Foreign institutions hold them. Trillions in leverage depend on their liquidity. That gives the United States extraordinary power. It also creates a vulnerability. The issuer of the world's safest collateral cannot afford to let that collateral become structurally difficult to trade. As federal debt expands, the market must absorb increasingly large quantities of Treasury securities. If private buyers demand higher yields, Washington's financing costs rise. Those higher costs compound the fiscal problem that produced the issuance. The feedback loop can eventually turn against the government itself. Here is where it gets consequential. • The Treasury has every reason to manage issuance, maturity mix, and trading liquidity more and more aggressively. • The Fed has every reason to keep Treasury-market stress from spreading into the broader financial system. Over time, those two goals merge. The government's financing needs start shaping monetary policy, even without anyone formally giving up Fed independence. That is the shift to watch. This particular $6 billion buyback is routine debt management. It doesn't prove the shift has happened, and it doesn't automatically add money to the system. But the long-run direction is clear: persistent deficits, rising refinancing needs, and a financial system built on Treasury collateral create lasting pressure for more government intervention. And that is where Bitcoin enters. If protecting the government's ability to finance itself ultimately requires sustained easy money, negative real yields, or a weaker currency, scarce assets that no government can print gain a structural advantage. The biggest future Bitcoin catalyst may be the moment preserving the Treasury market becomes more important than preserving the purchasing power of the dollar Treasuries are paid in.

⚡️The real shift is that money itself is about to become an autonomous software decision. Humans currently decide what counts as savings through culture, institutions, fear, habit, regulation, career risk. Machines do not inherit those attachments unless humans deliberately hard-code them. Give an autonomous agent revenue, expenses, liabilities, a treasury balance, and a long enough planning horizon, and eventually it has to answer one primitive question: Where does unused purchasing power live? That question gets answered millions of times per second by policy, not emotion. For operating capital, dollars win. Stablecoins are machine-readable dollars with instant settlement. For yield-bearing reserves, tokenized Treasuries win a large share. For capital that needs to survive outside an issuer, jurisdiction, maturity schedule, or discretionary monetary policy, Bitcoin becomes the obvious candidate. That creates a monetary stack that looks increasingly machine-native: stablecoins for transactions tokenized government debt for yield Bitcoin for sovereign reserve And here is the part that could become enormous. Once agents become economically autonomous, Bitcoin demand can detach from human attention entirely. An agent earns $100,000. Expenses require $40,000. Liquidity buffer requires $20,000. Treasury policy automatically allocates some fraction of the remaining $40,000 into long-duration reserve assets. Then another agent does it. Then ten million. Then industrial robots. Autonomous companies. Personal AI corporations. Machine-run marketplaces. Software entities earning from other software entities. Nobody needs to wake up bullish. Nobody needs to watch a halving. Nobody needs Michael Saylor to explain anything. The accumulation becomes background computation. That is a radically different monetary regime because human speculative demand is episodic. Machine treasury demand can be continuous. The deepest implication is that Bitcoin may eventually become the first major asset whose marginal buyer is partly nonhuman. And once that happens, the old framing of Bitcoin as a human belief asset starts breaking down. Its monetary premium begins coming from something colder: software choosing the asset because the rules survive inspection. Fixed supply. No issuer. No bankruptcy. No board. No country. No closing hours. No maturity. No permission required at the protocol layer. A machine does not need the mythology of digital gold. It can simply compare monetary objects. That is where this gets almost eerie. Bitcoin was designed before autonomous economic agents existed, yet its architecture happens to look unusually compatible with an economy populated by them. A bearer asset that machines can verify themselves. A monetary policy expressed in code. A settlement system that never sleeps. A supply curve requiring no trust in another mind. That combination may turn out to have been waiting for a user class that did not exist when Bitcoin was created.
NEW: $15 trillion BlackRock says AI agents may choose to save in #Bitcoin for "long-term value preservation" 👀 "These findings ... point to a potential AI-native monetary architecture in which stablecoins serve as transactional money and bitcoin as a store of value." 👏
