India abstains from voting on whether there should be an independent expert who looks at violence against LGBT+ people.

Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui's two shows were cancelled after Bajrang Dal members travelled from Gujarat to Mumbai and threatened the venue owners.
“They told us they will burn the place, so we decided to cancel the show," the owner of a venue said.
