Matt, could you list the books you have read written by Protestant scholars on this topic? I mean, as you say, they are clueless, but you must have read some of their rather massive tomes on the topic, right? Like William Whitaker's nearly 1000 page work, A Disputation on Holy Scripture? Maybe something more current, like MIchael Kruger's fine works?

Btw, this guy was by far the best Mormon apologist. Not because he gave convincing arguments, but because he presented a life worth living.
