Hello everyone! We're very proud to announce that @amonmoce has joined @Cosmos4Humanity as our West Africa Coordinator ! 🛰️🌍♻️

@Cosmos4Humanity is the first NGO for the sustainable development of space activities to sign the #ZeroDebris Charter! 👏 We congratulate the 40 companies and organizations that have made a strong commitment to sustainable space. Thank you to @esa and @AschbacherJosef for initiating this ambitious charter involving institutions, companies and NGOs. We would also like to thank @QUENVER and his team for all their work, both on stage and behind the scenes, over the past year. 🛰 The Zero Debris Charter helps to continue and accelerate the current movement to make space stakeholders more responsible for the sustainable use of space. It is this movement that will ultimately enable us to build a sustainable business model for space debris removal and orbits cleaning operators. 🤜 Building on these foundations laid by ESA, we now call on the @Europarl_EN and the @EU_Commission to take responsibility for a sustainable space. The work carried out by ESA must feed into the work begun on the European union Space Law (#EUSL) in which Cosmos for Humanity took part during the November surveys. In the future, European regulations should make it possible to transform the moral responsibility of operators, introduced by this Charter, into a legal responsibility, which would not be limited to damage caused in orbit, but would extend to damage caused to the orbital environment. With all that this will imply in terms of European environmental law, #CSRD and #GreenTaxonomy. ❌ The time for irresponsible use of space is over. 👀 Next step for Cosmos for Humanity ➡ Bringing space to citizens at the #CosmosRangers Citzens Congress and introducing them to the Zero Debris Charter. It's Sunday 🌞and we're fast approaching the end of this #GG20. It's also the day we've chosen to support a Round in which we have a particular interest: The #DeSci round! (Decentralised Science) @asteriskDAO @desciers @descitokyo @mesoreefDAO @stiamee @Desciafrica @geltonastech @deepventureio @desci_round_ops @luncosim (Yes, most of space-related projects on @gitcoin are represented in this round!) In line with this theme, we have also chosen two other projects in the Token engineering round: @Networked_trust @trustedseed Thanks to the community's recommendations, we have also chosen to vonate to @GreenPlane49148 in the Climate Solutions round. If you have a few $USDC or $DAI left over for this GG20, don't hesitate to support them. And above all, enjoy your weekend! 🛰️🍄♻️

Less than a week to go until the end of this #GG20. That means you still have time to support public goods! 🌍🛰️♻️ So far, our donations have focused on the #ClimateSolutions round. For our Friday donation, we've decided to explore other rounds: dApps & Apps @Giveth (that we proudly support on @OctantApp !) @glodollar @treegens 🌱🌱🌱🌱 @hypercerts @agroforestDAO @lex_DAO Web3infrastructure @commonsstack OpenCivics @0xUrbanika 🚎 @citizenchat0x @zaldarren Hypercerts Ecosystem @SolarpunkGuild 🌞 @sovereignnature This is just a (very) small sample of the hundreds of projects featured in these rounds. Go and explore them too, and tell us below which one convinced you! Next donation: Sunday, with a focus on the DeSci Round organised by @DeSci_Round_Ops !
