I feel as if I need to address this directly as I’m not sure where it’s coming from. I am sure some issues predate my campaign but here’s my take.
Jeff and I met for the first time not long before the primary. He was positive and helpful but neutral. He interviewed me at Faith and Freedom and he was fair.
After the primary was over Jeff was there willing to help and support. He didn’t ask me for anything or try to change my message. But as time went on it went much further. He was a fierce advocate in my corner especially with Iowa donors and more established skeptics.
He saw how our movement was changing the party and was very vocal about that being a good and necessary change.
Over the last two weeks he introduced me at a dozen events and talked (yelled) directly about his belief in my message.
On the night of the election after results were in he came to see me and I will never forget the words of encouragement he shared, the absolute insistence on me staying in the game, and the true emotion both were shared with. Everyone in the room saw it, it was very, very real.
I’m sure we don’t agree on every issue but as a man it was very clear as @kaufmannGOP got to know me, he believed in me and I will not forget it. I consider him a friend and as a 30-year history teacher - a fellow lover of Iowa history.
I’m very happy to see this first positive step due to a lawsuit I filed. There is more work ahead, but Ames has changed its illegal policy-an important win for freedom. iowafc.org/2026/11/06/victor…
The law we sued under would not exist without the tireless work of @IFC2A
And my dear friend @BillGustoff who worked on this in the legislature after we sued Monroe County over a similar issue.

Confirming Lee to the Court of Appeals is essential — will pay dividends for decades.
President Trump nominated U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas Lee Rudofsky to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
This appellate court covers Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
There is a very limited window to confirm Rudofsky--before Senate Democrats block him.
Arkansas' two Republican home-state senators--@JohnBoozman and @TomCottonAR--are blocking Rudofsky, as they wanted someone else.
(They have @JohnCornyn and @SenThomTillis doing their bidding for them.)
They need to change their minds--and fast--or Republicans will lose this key appellate court seat.
Cornyn and Tillis are leaving the Senate.
But this is an unforgivable sin for Boozman and Cotton.
The plot went so deep that three statewide Republicans were reelected, we retained solid GOP majorities in the state legislature, and a pro taxpayer constitutional amendment passed by a wide margin.
No way in hell.
Iowa did not vote for communism because of gas prices (that were the same or less than under previous admin) or a war to end a nuclear threat (w/ no boots on the ground).
I know Iowa.
Iowa raised me.
Iowa educated me.
The math isn’t mathing here.
Let’s audit this election to make sure the results are honest before we hand over the Hawkeye state and America to Communists.
Do not certify until you VERIFY the vote.
It would take an unprecedented tabulation error to change a race by a net of 10,000 votes. As a point of reference, the 2024 IA-01 recount resulted in a net change of 3 votes - a change of 0.0007%. In an evenly divided electorate the chances are that any stray uncounted ballots are just as evenly divided.
Dear Iowans,
Our race for Treasurer of State remains uncalled, and separated by less than 10,000 votes. We’d like to make sure every vote is counted before the race is decided.
Let’s let our county auditors, and our Secretary of State, do their jobs and make sure all the provisional and special category ballots are counted and there are no substantive errors.
To those who have supported us, thank you so much for that support! I was extremely pleased that so many Iowans stepped up this election cycle to protect our state and our democracy.
We need vision, courage to speak out, and a new direction. I believe the Iowa people are up for the challenges ahead.
Onward!

In the bright light of the election results, many may have overlooked the passage of an amendment to Iowa’s Constitution that now requires a supermajority to raise or impose new taxes. Iowans delivered a major structural defeat to the left last night. Congratulations to @ITRwatchdog for getting this done in a tough environment.
