Think of all the anarchists you've ever heard about
Like Kropotkin and Proudhon, cats and mink
There are lots of funny anarchists in all this world
But have you ever seen a rioter that is pink?
Think!
An anarchist that's positively pink
Well here he is, the pink panther

There’s a TikTok trend where people are saying the correct order to spend their Christmas Day and some girl just said around 4/5pm her family has a few drinks (if they’re in the mood?!)

This is the guy who smeared the Holborn Labour candidate as dangerous because she's friends with a Zionist woman in Labour.
Lubna says "she has received death and rape threats since the vote"
No one should be subjected to this level of vitriol. We must all call it out, political differences are one thing, threats of violence are not acceptable.

Ok can't say I am not disappointed. None of my designs got accepted. How can you get more British than a traffic cone on a statue, the "wanker" hand sign and a seagull with your bacon roll
Its just woke, although I dont mind the hedgehog

Hello everyone, this is a message from inside prison, from a young Iranian woman who is about to be executed. Please help me to amplify her voice before they hang her. 💔
«Remember my name, maybe I will not be able to speak again.»
This is the voice of Najmeh Amini, a 23 year old accounting student, speaking from Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad. In her voice message she says: «Be my voice. I am an innocent girl, a young woman full of hopes and dreams.»
Najmeh is one of the detainees of the January uprising .
She spent months in detention without a verdict, denied access to a lawyer of her choice and pressured during interrogation. In August, her trial was held at the Revolutionary Court of Mashhad on charges of «assembly and collusion» and «insulting sacred values.»
She said in her voice message that her death sentence was issued on September 16, 2026.
In her own words: «People, I only want justice and the chance to defend myself.» And this is her dream: «Before the rope ends my life, let me see my Iran prosperous and free.»
Be her voice and all of political prisoners, especially those at risk of execution.

Hot Dolly takes I've seen today:
She could have freed Palestine (but chose not to)
She chose not to be a billionaire by helping children unlike that other woman who chose not to be a billionaire by helping children. That one is evil, apparently.
She was 💯 Republican/Democrat.

A construction crew in Barberton, Ohio, rescued an abandoned kitten on the worksite. And he joined the team.
They heard him meowing coming from their excavator.
Supervisor Chase Guello checked the skid plate on the Komatsu. A tiny kitten tumbled out.
They warmed her up, moved her into the office trailer, and named her Sue short for Komatsu. She’s now the official shop cat.

This morning, I received a phone call from my Victim Liaison Officer confirming that my abusers are still going to be released after serving just 50% of their sentences.
Mohammed Usman is due to be released on 24 August, just next week, 7.5 years before the end of his 15-year sentence.
Because my abusers were sentenced in 2019, they fall under the rules that applied before the changes introduced in 2020. They therefore aren't subject to the 67% threshold that applies to many offenders sentenced later. By mere months, they avoided those changes.
I am grateful that they are no longer being considered for release after just 33%. But I cannot pretend that serving 50% of a 15–20 year sentence is justice.
Over the next 12 months, five violent sexual offenders who were convicted in relation to my abuse will be released having served only half of their sentences.
There is nothing I can do now to prevent those releases. And I have had to accept that, however difficult that is.
But this isn't where the fight ends.
We are already working on a campaign to make sure that when these offenders are released, any breach of their licence conditions is taken seriously and met with the full force of the law.
Violent sexual offenders should never walk out of prison believing they have simply "got away with it." Victims should never be left feeling that a 15 year sentence, or more, actually means serving only half of it.
I have spent years fighting for justice, not just for myself, but for thousands of victims whose lives were permanently changed by these men and other abusers like them.
I am grateful that the rules have moved away from the possibility of release after 33% and that many are serving longer behind bars, but 50% still leaves a very bitter pill to swallow.
This cannot continue.
Justice has to be about victims and public safety, nothing else.

This was a difficult piece to write. It was also necessary.
I am one of the 8,711 victims warned that our attackers could be released early under Labour’s scheme. People should know who stands to benefit.
Malcolm James, then in his late fifties, kidnapped me in 2019, shortly after my fourteenth birthday. He held me for several hours and repeatedly sexually assaulted me.
I remained silent until Sarah Everard disappeared. She was abducted from a road that crosses the one from which I had been taken. I feared that the same men were responsible, and that my silence had allowed it to happen again.
James was convicted of five sexual offences against a child. He is a repeat offender with previous convictions, including for violence. I already believed his eight year sentence was inadequate. Now he may be released earlier still.
Andy Burnham has promised to review this scheme. He must exclude rapists, child sex offenders and repeat violent criminals.
I refuse to have spent longer securing justice than James spends in prison.
