I will never shut up about COVID. I will never shut up about Palestine. In both cases, the US political establishment (both Democrats and Republicans) made calculated decisions about which lives they believe are expendable. And it’s disgusting.

I have not donated or worked for any political campaign since 2020. I get emails and text messages from politicians in cities and states I don’t currently, or have never lived in. Why am I getting texts from someone in Tennessee about their race and asking for donations?!
Voters are receiving so many political texts, calls and mailers that some are reconsidering ever donating to a campaign again “I must get at least 10-20 texts A DAY from literally every single candidate in the country," a voter said " huffpost.com/entry/voters-in…

I also think we tend to define parental fitness by whether someone loves their child, which is a pretty low bar for evaluating the exercise of power. You can love someone deeply and still lack the emotional regulation or self-awareness to exercise authority over them responsibly
Kids are not the source of problems. The problem is too many ppl do not look themselves in the mirror to ask themselves “am I fit to be a parent rn”, then their kid has to pay for their lack of self-reflection.

i just love the way the same system that convinced the masses to sacrifice themselves and children to covid for capitalism has been mocking and normalizing our collective demise along the way.
what a fucked up statement, “adults!”

Online meeting: 4 our of 7 were sick. One person works in disability sector & has RSV. She said she thinks she passed it onto 4 clients, & one of those ended up in hospital. Her final words on the subject were, "Oh well, someone gave it to me in the first place anyway". FmL 😡

I asked TikTok whether they’d rather people vote third party or not at all. The comments were concerning 😭

similar to how amazon refused to install AC bc it was cheaper to externalize the cost of an ambulence for heat stroke onto the employee, capitalists will always choose the cheapest option even if it causes mass death
A friendly reminder that data centers don't actually need water. They need a cooling system and are using water because it's the cheapest way to do it.

America, i'm going to hold your hand while i tell you this: you're not going to vote your way out of fascism, now that you're there. that's never happened, historically, once rhe fascists took power, they've never been removed by voting. electoralism CANNOT save you now.

It’s the 13th wave of Covid right now. The 13th spin of the chamber. Many lives were destroyed from waves 1 to 12, but every wave is an opportunity to join them. The NYT is saying it out loud at last…

Corporate Democrats are now just screaming the quiet part - they are openly admitting they would rather have GOP/MAGA rule than work with the populist wing of the Democratic Party
James Carville says he'd rather have Republicans keep control of the House than Democrats winning the chamber by 5 seats. "I would rather the Republicans keep the House by five than the Democrats win by five, because if that happens, they’re hostage to the DSA. Like, Hakeem cannot move. There’s no place for him to go."

Virtually every university across North Carolina has lost its early voting site. This is a coordinated assault on youth & minority turnout.
North Carolina A&T students marched an hour each way to vote on the first day of early voting after their campus polling site was removed by the Guilford County Elections Board. Proud 👏🏽
