My dad, Frank Crean, served in WWII, as did his brother Joe, Merchant Marine, Bill, Army, Tom, Marines. Miraculously, they all returned. My dad was in N Africa, Anzio & the second wave of D-Day. He wasn't just my hero. He was legitimately "A" hero, as was each of his comrades.

She tapered off Zoloft exactly the way her doctor told her to.

Lauren Friedman started SSRIs at 18, after finding out half her college lacrosse team was on them. For three years she was the girl in the comments defending them, saying they saved her life. She still splits her life into BZ and AZ: before Zoloft and after Zoloft.
It’s called PSSD, post-SSRI sexual dysfunction. Europe’s drug regulator had persistent sexual dysfunction added to SSRI labels back in 2019, yet most people starting these meds have never heard the term.
Two things in this clip stand out.
She describes psychiatrists asking patients “so which one do you want to take?” That’s a strange way to prescribe a drug that acts on your brain.
And her worst damage showed up after she stopped, not while she was on it. Almost nobody is told that part.
This isn’t a reason for anyone to panic or quit. Stopping too fast is exactly what she’s warning about. But anyone starting an SSRI deserves to hear about this risk before the first pill, not two years after the last one.

In the early morning, a Russian drone struck a combined heat and power plant in Shostka. Railway infrastructure in Dnipro and Kharkiv was hit as well. Russia also attacked a gas distribution facility in the Dnipro region.
These Russian strikes have created a difficult situation with electricity supplies across our regions. Around 200,000 households in Dnipro and the region are without electricity. Another 80,000-plus households in the Kyiv region are also without power. Repair crews are working to deal with the aftermath of the strikes and doing everything they can to restore electricity supplies.
The world sees that Russia is deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure every day. And everyone who does not want to see this Russian escalation spread further into Europe must help Ukraine. Strong steps that will really lead toward peace are needed – sanctions against the aggressor and new support packages for Ukraine. Thank you to everyone who is helping.
