Put this together yesterday because I've been practicing/fighting a lot of people on #SmashBrosUltimate and I keep having to explain my #MiiFighter movesets. I think the three images turned out alright. Haven't done graphical design in a bit, so I'm rather proud of the result!

When I was a Lisbon TO and found out about the original spot (we were desperate for a venue), I was very impressed. Despite a rocky start, we were actually very lucky for so many years; sadly, nothing lasts forever... See you around, @GargulaGaming. TCG-only from now on. GLHF!
Today the venue for our weekly has closed after about 7 years. i'm a bit sad because it was where it all started for me in Smash. After this much time, it felt like a second home. Many good moments were had, including my first tournament win at 14 lol time catches up to all...

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026) Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love. We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we werenโ€™t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. โ€œBut Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to riskโ€”getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?โ€. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in Londonโ€™s West End and on Broadway. America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire. His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen. Ian McKellen 29 October 2026 Photo: University of Huddersfield

This is the future that unregulated AI use has brought forth. It started as a tool to steal from artists, developers, writers and creatives all around the world. Now, unsurprisingly, this is what it has come to. But keep using it. Keep excusing it. You reap what you sow.

Man, this really is gonna happen then huh?
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even โ€œday afterโ€ scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Oh my goodness this has to be right. Instead of generating a random 256-bit number they generated a random number between 0 and 256. Thatโ€™s how they got 4, 66, 155, 156, 230 and 237.
Replying to @itsnebulalol
