.@SenatorBanks joined @hammerandnigel to discuss last night's Republican losses, and he didn't sugarcoat it.
Banks called it a "bad night for Republicans" and said the message from voters was clear: affordability.
He pointed to :
-gas prices
-groceries
-utility bills
-inflation
-housing costs
He says Republicans have to do a better job addressing the issues voters care about.
On @MaxForIndiana loss, Banks said it was a national wave election, arguing that @BeauBayh benefited from the Democratic wave and his famous last name, along with more than $10 million in outside funding.
He also acknowledged that the war in Iran and tariffs are contributing to higher prices.
His message to Republicans?
Look in the mirror, learn the lesson, rebuild from the grassroots up and come back with solutions.
