Buying a car with cash is not a crime. 🚗
Bill S-8, introduced yesterday, would restrict businesses from accepting cash payments of $10,000 or more.
Fighting money laundering matters. So does the freedom to make lawful purchases with your own money.

Canadians deserve to know for every arrest… is the accused a citizen? If not, what is their status?

Constitutional lawyer Daniel Santoro warns that Bill C-22 could threaten Canadians’ privacy and make their personal information more vulnerable to hackers. In his submission to the Senate committee reviewing the bill, he raises the following concerns, summarized here:
"Bill C-22 would let the government require phone and internet companies to build ways to access people’s private information and keep records about their communications, such as when they connected and who they contacted. The government would not need a judge’s approval to impose these requirements.
The concern is that this could violate Canadians’ right to privacy under the Charter. Police normally need a warrant to get private information, but the bill would also allow them to search businesses without one.
The bill would also require companies to build “backdoors”—special ways for police to get private information. Even if police need a warrant to use them, hackers could exploit those same backdoors."

💥REPORT: The Public Safety Minister told the Senate that every step of his surveillance bill (Bill C-22) requires a judge—but it doesn't.
When asked about targeting political rivals, Gary Anandasangaree said everything runs through the Criminal Code—which has thousands of offences to choose from—and the bar is suspicion, not proof; then he can create a secret order, without a judge and no appeal—and you would never know.

The Canada Revenue Agency gave a security contract to an American company instead of the Commissionaires, the largest employer of Canadian veterans.
Moments ago, the Liberals voted down our Conservative motion calling on them to scrap the contract and support our veterans.

The average Canadian doesn’t understand what this will mean for them and their family. Canadians need to wake up very quickly if we want to hit the brakes on this. Mark Carney has to go. This isn’t about left or right this is about the next step for your humanity and CANADA.

🇧🇸🎉🎊🥂 FUN FACTS : Brookfield was able to dodge billions in Canadian taxes, thanks to offshore tax havens in the Caribbean.
🏢 Brookfield Asset Management (BAM) is a $1 trillion asset management company.
🏘️ BAM manages numerous industrial, commercial & residential rental properties in Canada.
🇺🇸 Carney personally penned the letter to move BAM to the USA in December 2024, while he was the Chair of the Board.
🗳️ Carney then stepped down as the Chair of BAM in January 2025, so he could run to replace Justin Trudeau as Liberal leader.

What if I told you there was a medication that could reduce the risk of dying from an opioid overdose to roughly ZERO.
Most Canadians have never heard of it.
It’s called buprenorphine.
At the Health Committee, I questioned Dr. Pouya Azar, an addiction medicine specialist with frontline experience treating substance use disorders, about this life-saving treatment.
Buprenorphine reduces opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms, helping those struggling with addiction stabilize their lives and begin recovery.
Dr. Azar testified that this treatment is basically 100% effective at preventing death by opioid overdose.
This raises a serious question about the Liberal government’s approach to Canada’s opioid crisis.
Why has so much attention and funding been directed toward ideologically-driven “safe supply” programs while Canadians continue to face barriers accessing evidence-based addiction treatment?
Canadians deserve answers about why treatments like buprenorphine are not more widely accessible.
If we’re serious about addressing Canada’s opioid crisis, we need to make evidence-based treatment and recovery a priority.

Europe’s online censorship regime has resulted in countless lawful social media posts being removed because companies fear non-compliance. This is far beyond child protection. And Marc Miller sees it as a model?
Is this part of Mark Carney’s “associate membership” play with the EU?

Watch for this trick in this week's Canadian budget.
Ottawa will brag about “low net debt.” They started doing this when CArney got elected. What they won’t tell you is that the only reason that number looks good is because they’re subtracting roughly a trillion dollars in CPP and QPP assets.
Those funds are not government money. They’re held in trust for workers and retirees. The feds can’t spend them, borrow against them, or use them to cover their own deficits. Subtracting them is not standard accounting. In fact, most other countries don’t do this because the money is earmarked and legally unavailable for general government spending.
This is how they plan to conceal the real borrowing binge. Gross debt keeps rising, debt-service costs are exploding, and they’re using our pension savings as an accounting offset to pretend there’s still fiscal room.
Don’t fall for the “net” number. It's a deliberate sleight of hand.
