If there’s anything Brazil has taught us over the last four years, it’s that Leftists will rig elections, call themselves defenders of democracy while they’re doing it, hijack the courts after they’ve won, use them to convert the country into a soft dictatorship, and then arrest their political enemies, ban free speech, and attack social media platforms they can’t control in order to guarantee that they never lose power ever again.
And with that power they will construct an inverted hierarchy that places troons, third worldists, criminals, drug addicts, and mentally ill lunatics at the top of the social pyramid, all while acting like they’re fighting for equality and just being a heckin’ decent human being.

You don't need to do anything illegal or insane to stop the progressives, you just need to enforce the law as written
But enforcing the laws as written is considered extreme by bedwetting ConInc types, so the window for resolving the problems under color of law is shrinking rapidly
They would rather accuse people of being Woke Nazi pagans because they believe what the founders really said and want to save the country lawfully
So they're making the need for extra-constitutional remedies inevitable by demonizing constructional remedies now

Why does it matter whether Samuel Sey is allowed to live in the US or not? His true citizenship is in Heaven.
Some call it “inconsistent”. Others call it a “friend/enemy distinction.”
Yes, happy to explain. I don’t think it’s wise to let your opinion of an entire immigration policy be dictated by outlier cases, tragic cases, or sad stories. I also support the second amendment even when there are tragic cases of gun violence.
I support ICE and I believe mass deportations are necessary. I believe in law and order and I believe in justice. So does Samuel Sey. I don’t fault ICE for doing its job. I also believe in helping friends when you can, and also believe that mercy is sometimes appropriate. I know Samuel—he’s a good man of integrity. He has made good faith effort to file the right paperwork and comply with the law. He didn’t deceive or purposefully break the law. He would make an excellent American citizen. I hope he can become one someday.
There are many other similar cases, I’m sure. It doesn’t change my opinion. All we can do is support justice as well as we can, and extend mercy where appropriate to the best of our ability. You might find this inconsistent, but I don’t. It’s just part of living in a messy world.

A reminder that Joel Berry has now been raising money for an illegal from Ghana deported for knowingly overstaying his visa.
I have received a statement from DHS regarding Sam Sey:
“On October 21, ICE arrested Samuel Sey, an illegal alien from Ghana, at the Columbus International Airport. Sey entered the United States legally in 2022 but overstayed his length of admission by over four years, in violation of our nation’s laws. Sey has no pending applications and accepted voluntary departure. He will remain in ICE custody until removed from the United States.
“We do not pick and choose which laws to enforce or where to enforce them.
“We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. I asked 30 Japanese 12-year-olds one question.
"What do you think of when you hear 'America'?"
(My nephew's teacher let me visit his class. I was not prepared.)
"Hamburgers the size of my head."
"Everything is big. Even the milk."
"Cowboys." Then a boy asked me, "Do cowboys still exist?"
I said yes.
The whole class cheered.
"They went to the moon."
I told them only Americans have ever walked on it.
The room went completely silent. Respect.
"The best baseball in the world. Even Ohtani had to go there."
"Superheroes. They all live in New York."
Then a quiet girl in the back raised her hand.
"My grandma says when the tsunami came, American soldiers came to help her town. She still has a photo with them on her fridge."
Nobody said anything for a while.
Then the teacher asked, "Who wants to go to America someday?"
Every hand went up.
Including the teacher's.
