5 REASONS TO THANK GOD TODAY:
1. He woke you up today.
2. It’s a new day.
3. You have food to eat.
4. Roof over your head.
5. He will never abandon you.

I fully understand why David prayed for God to create in him a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. Sometimes, the greatest battle is not with the people around us but with what is happening inside us. You can have a good heart and still need God to work on your attitude, your thoughts, your reactions and the things you struggle to control.

Just because the coach doesn’t play your child doesn’t mean they dislike them. A coach can care deeply about your child, both as a player and person, without agreeing with your assessment of their talent.
Good morning.

Stop rushing your kid’s development and focus more on the daily process. The work has never cheated anybody that remains true to it.
Professional athletes being coachable, but parents let some of these kids THINK they can talk crazy to coaches without being punished 🤦🏾♂️

HS ball very different than open runs… Better learn how to play in a half court..
My guys fought their butts off tonight! So much growth shown from last year to this year! If you are from Houston and you want to be negative , stay home! If you post anything negative about HHS, maybe look in the mirror and ask what am I truly doing or worth to the community

I think being a high school basketball coach might be harder now than it’s ever been. You really have parents wanting to sit inside practices. That’s crazy to me. I don’t want to sound old, but back in my day, parents wouldn’t even think to ask. Practice was for the players and coaches. Period. Much respect to today’s coaches because they’re dealing with unwarranted egos, unrealistic expectations, delusional parents, handlers. The high school coach used to be more than just the person drawing up plays. They were mentors and role models. They taught you discipline, accountability, how to handle adversity and how to become a better young man or woman. Now, if a freshman isn’t playing 20 out of 32 minutes, you have parents ready to transfer them somewhere else. At some point, we have to ask: Are we helping these kids by removing every uncomfortable situation, or are we hurting their development? How do we give high school coaches the ability to actually COACH again while still holding them accountable?

Lioness has an episode detailing the assault on America by using propaganda, media, and our educational system. It’s definitely showing more as I see some views of people.
