A woman driving a BMW car hit a scooty, a bike and a car in Juhu, Mumbai and was fleeing the scene.
A traffic police officer saw this and tried to stop her, but she kept driving and even tried to run him over.
People standing nearby stopped her and opened her car doors.

My building is facing a safety concern due to three stray dogs, one of which is reportedly aggressive and has been involved in dog-biting incidents.
When we complained, the authorities told us that the dog was already sterilised and could be taken for 10 days of observation and rehabilitation before being released back at the location where it was picked up.
When I asked what would happen if it bit someone again, I was told that the same process would be repeated.
Surely, there needs to be a more effective solution when public safety is at stake?
What options do Mumbai residents have under the law? Can anyone guide me?
