Nam Kuipers Long Covid mee in zijn beslissing om direct maximaal te versoepelen?
Hij zag na een recente boostercampagne een window of opportunity om heel het land te besmetten (piek: 100.000 per dag) en pakte die. Want het enige alternatief wat hij schetst, is 1, 2 maanden later alsnog heel het land te infecteren, nadat de boosters verzwakt zijn.
Zo zou het minder Long Covid opleveren. Geen bewijs, aanwijzingen en "redelijke gronden".
Dit horen we volgens mij voor het eerst. Indertijd zei het het niet, of wel? Ik zie graag voorbeelden. Dit is zo'n expliciete gevolgtrekking, dat het ook in WOO-verzoeken naar boven moet zijn gekomen toch?
Ik geloof er helemaal niks van dat begin 2022 op die manier Long Covid onderdeel maakte van de afweging, laat staan dat Long Covid een argument vóór massa-infectie was.
Een serieuze #coronaenquête had ons de kans geboden de rampzalige kabinetskeuzes in 2020 te verantwoorden en in de toekomst te voorkomen.

Covid krijg je van ademen. Dit moderne ziekenhuis heeft goede ventilatie en is dus relatief minder risicovol. Handen schudden heeft echter géén aangetoonde, noch een aannemelijke relatie met LUCHTWEGinfecties krijgen #CovidIsNotOver #CovidIsAirborne

Een nieuwe Nederlandse studie in BMJ volgde mensen 2 jaar na Covid-19.
Zelfs van degenen die nooit in het ziekenhuis waren opgenomen, had 43% nog steeds aanhoudende klachten.
Dit heeft een enorme impact op de bevolking en gezondheidszorg.

Apparent lymphopenia is not the only indicator. That is a late and advanced sign. Functional assays like the response to new vaccinations are more apparent indicators

Researchers from Sweden showed that two small parts of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein called Spike601 and Spike685 can form amyloid-like fibrils, which interfere with clot formation and breakdown (fibrinolysis). Distinct symptom patterns were seen by age group. Poor appetite, chronic cough, sleep issues, and fatigue were strongly linked to prior COVID-19 infection.
The authors estimate nearly 6 million U.S. children may be affected by Long COVID — surpassing Asthma as the most common chronic condition in kids today.
