Tye Ruotolo has been working with Erik Paulson and training (amongst other things for MMA) catch wrestling to round out his skill set. Looking dominant here, and I'm happy to see the guys being so successful.

MASSIVE UPSET. Tye Ruotolo submits Christian Lee in the first round via RNC to win the ONE Lightweight MMA World Title 🤯 Only 3 fights into his MMA career and Tye is a world champion in MMA. #TheInnerCircle37

I’m looking at a major surgery soon. If you will, kindly pray for me. I’m quite nervous about it.

The Star Wars conversation resonates with so much of the modern demographic because most have outright rejected religion. Pop culture is the only medium through which they allow themselves to wrestle with morality. This conversation is their Iliad. Their Passion of the Christ.

Mutuals of mine are able to convey complex topics through the use of these memes. The memes are just vehicles. For many people though, this is the first time they are allowing themselves to discuss these ideas. This is the first time they have considered them.

It's actually really telling how taken aback "normies" are by the Anakin memes coming out. Willful ignorance. There's a touch of irony in all of this really.

Legitimately, this Star Wars discourse is the best thing to come out of the franchise in over a decade.

I got meme'd into watching episode 1. My son and daughter have never seen any of the Star Wars movies.

I'm just grateful to see something interesting being discussed with Star Wars for once.

If I may complain for a second.. I have been asked more in the last few weeks if I coach kids BJJ than ever before. I do not teach kids nor BJJ. However at this point it feels like I'm just leaving money on the table.

Another reason is the lack of reward system for kids and hobbyists that aren't interested in competing. So I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I do not mention it much for fear of sounding full of myself, but I am above and beyond the best coach in the local area.

You would think that my winning percentage as a coach would bring in the market. This is not how it works. I don't believe it will ever work that way. People want to buy into a lifestyle brand. BJJ offers that. Sadly this is not a rising tides raises all ships situation.
