That's my man @s_mach_hayato with the heel hook from his Catch Wrestling base via Shooto/Kikuchi Dojo.
Back then BJJ still called leg locks "cheap" and "dirty". All the leg locking you now see in BJJ is due to BJJ coaches and athletes taking from Catch and Sambo.
