ऑप इंडिया की मुख्य संपादक नपुर जे शर्मा की तरफ से हजरत ख्वाजा गरीब नवाज की शान में गुस्ताखी किये जाने पर मुस्लिम स्टूडेंट्स ऑर्गेनाइजेशन ऑफ़ इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मुहम्मद मुदस्सिर अशरफी ने कड़ी निंदा करते हुए कहा कि कट्टरपंथी अक्सर ख्वाजा गरीब नवाज़ की शान में बे अदबी करते रहते हैं, लेकिन अब एक पत्रकार द्वारा उनका अपमान करके हद पार कर दी गई है। इसे किसी भी सूरत में बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जा सकता.
उन्होंने कहा कि आठ सौ सालों से अधिक समय से शांति और सद्भाव के चाहने वाले हजरत ख्वाजा गरीब अल-नवाज की दरगाह पर आते रहे हैं, और यहाँ से अपनी मुरादें पाते हैं, उनकी दरगाह पर सभी धर्मों के लोग बिना किसी भेदभाव के पहुंचते हैं और अपनी मन्नतें मांगते हैं। इसलिए हजरत ख्वाजा गरीब नवाज के अकीदतमंदों के दिलों को ठेस पहुंचाने वाली पत्रकार को कड़ी से कड़ी सजा दी जानी चाहिए ताकि वह दोबारा कोई ऐसी हरकत करने की हिम्मत न कर सके।
उन्होंने कहा कि मीडिया का काम देश के हालात को लोगों के सामने रखना है न कि किसी बुजुर्ग के सम्मान का अपमान करना. ख्वाजा गरीब नवाज़ का दरबार वह दरबार है जहां हर धर्म के लोग मन्नत मांगने जाते हैं. और ख्वाजा गरीब नवाज सभी की मुरादें पूरी करते हैं. वह ऐसा दरबार है, जहाँ से आज तक कोई खाली हाथ नहीं लौटा है, इस लिए सरकार को चाहिए कि लाखों लोगों की भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंचाने के लिए उन्हें तुरंत गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेजना चाहिए।
