This is a huge shortage of Police Personnel for public policing but they are used as ordelies of Police Officials & Politicians. There are a good number of Police personnel posted at PSOs.
5 Temporary Cracker shops have erected sheds on Rajendra Prasad Road, Pallavaram, which comes under the St. Thomas Mount, Pallavaram Cantonment Board. These sheds are adjacent to 2 Churches, 3 Schools & Diagnostic centre. Don't know how rule 86(5) of Explosives Act 2008, which prohibits such shops within a distance of 50 meters from Places of Worship, Educational institutions, Hospitals & Diagnostic Centres. Already many complaints raised by people regarding this Violation to @StmCantt board, no action yet. Heard huge amount changes hands to @StmCantt officials for these permissions. @ddg_it @RakshaSampada @DefMinIndia
Mails sent to Defence Estates, Defence Minister, Defence Ministry & St. Thomas Mount Pallavaram Cantonment Board, no action taken to remove these Shops.
A half Km stretch of service lane, around Bilal Restaurant on Pallavaram Radial Road is completely encroached with food carts, Bilal customer cars and other heavy vehicles, creating nuisance & obstructing pedestrian movement. Don't know why Chromepet Traffic Police, Chitlapakkam L&O, Highway Officials not initiating any action to remove these encroachments inspite of repeated complaints. Doubt whether some officials from the above Department on the payroll of these encroachers. @CMOTamilnadu

No Doctors available at Primary Health Center, Kannagi Nagar, Ward 196, Zone 15. Huge rush of patients waiting for the Doctor in a place where about 50 K people reside. Putheri - Keelkatalai Surplus canal has been encroached in Chromepet at many places. Also Big Housing infra companies, ie Prestige Pallavaram Garden has closed the area of canal entering their property partially by constructing concrete structure with grating & altering the course of the canal without any proper departmental sanctions, causing innumerable hardship and flooding of residential areas upstream. Casa Grand project (Next to Serene Mantri) under construction on the North side of Pallavaram Radial Road has closed a 4 Mt wide canal inside its property which is one of the surplus canals of Pallavaram Lake joining the Putheri and onto Keelkatalai Lake. @tamilnadu_wrd @DISTRICTCPT
How does one expect rainwater which carries all garbage & trash to flow through the grated vents in this concrete structure built by
#PrestigeVentures. What are @WRD & @Tambaram_Corp officials doing. They should immediately dismantle & remove this structure for the free flow of rainwater. @CMOTamilnadu

Periodic visit to the @DISTRICTCPT and presented written petitions which were forwarded to @Tambaram_Corp. Only an eyewash inspection happened on 24/06/26 by Pallavaram Tasildhar, Deputy Tasildhar, Surveyor, @tamilnadu_wrd AE, Town Planning AE of TBM Corporation and no further action to resolve the issue. During inspection Prestige Ventures officials were hostile and uncooperative, they failed to furnish documents, requested by Tasildha. @CMOTamilnadu @Chief_Secy_TN @BussyAnand @AadhavArjuna @imrajmohan
In 2022 Officials and Ministers inspected the place and promised 2 widen canal and diesilt it. That promised project has been only on paper and not implemented. During this period Prestige Pallavaram Gardens project has started and they have constructed concrete canals by altering it's course affecting it's natural gradient and water flow. About 15 residential streets hit a road block on the Prestige property affecting the drain of rain water during monsoon as west to east is the natural gradient. Will the @DISTRICTCPT & @tamilnadu_wrd act immediately to revive the project to ensure no flooding happens during monsoon. @CMOTamilnadu @MoHUA_India @AadhavArjuna @BussyAnand
