I'm surprised to see that Kengeri railway station doesn't have lift/escalator which is very crucial for PWDs and elders. I hereby request @PiyushGoyal sir to spend some time on this issue and get it resolved🙏
@NammaRailways @SWRRLY @GMSWR plz help to get safest commute for all.
I am 100% sure that you have to suspend majority of the officers and contractors.. but happy to see this action sir. People will watch your next actions.. Let's see if road quality improves or not..
I really hope I don’t have to do this frequently. But, if officers and contractors do not listen and do their job, unfortunately, I will be forced. I appeal to them to do their job properly.
Today, I happened to observe an asphalt work in progress. I was doubtful of the quality. I asked the Commissioner to inspect this asphalt work. Indeed, the work was found to be substandard. Sadly, officer is suspended and contractor penalised.

🔥 IRONY: GARBAGE BURNED ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, Basavanagudi 🔥
ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನದಂದೇ ಕಸ ಸುಡುವಿಕೆ!
Location: Opp Basavanagudi Police Station, Krishna Rajendra Road
Date: 05-Jun-2026,
While Bengaluru talks "Swachh Bharat", (unknown/contractor ) someone burned mixed waste + plastic right opposite the police station. Thick toxic smoke, pedestrians choking.
But we also saw quick action:
👏 Guruprasad Rotti K, Secretary - HERITAGE Basavanagudi Residents Welfare Forum(R)
👮 Santhosh, Police Constable - poured water, controlled fire immediately
🙏 Thanks Mr. Amaresh, @Basavanagudibcp for sending staff on time.
Burning garbage = Air pollution + Cancer risk + Violates NGT orders + Karnataka Prohibition of Burning Waste Rules 2019
This is why Basavanagudi needs cleared footpaths + proper waste collection.

Cleaning staff were caught throwing garbage on railway tracks from a running train.
When asked why, the reply was: “We don’t have plastic bags to collect waste.”
Swachh Bharat cannot run on slogans while garbage is dumped from trains.

Quite often, we hear about the Yamuna River being so polluted that it is dead! Essentially, what this means is that the dissolved oxygen (DO) levels in its water has fallen so low that it cannot support life within it, let alone posing severe health risks for the civilisations that have been residing on its banks for centuries.
Rivers used to be the backbone of civilisations. Today, this has slightly changed in India. The upstreams of rivers still provide freshwater for Indian cities to thrive. But the downstreams of these same rivers have become dumping grounds for the very cities that prosper because of them.
Like most of Urban India, this is prevalent in Bangalore too. The Vrishabhavathi River starts near the Peenya Industrial Area and Sankey Tank and flows through the southwestern valley of Bengaluru, joining the Arkavathi River further south. The Vrishabhavathi River is not very far from becoming like the Yamuna. And hence, it is now more important than ever that we talk about this river. Talk against the injustice happening to this river and the livelihoods that have been relying on it for centuries.
I am grateful to receive support from the CFL to conduct a research project on the Vrishabhavathi. This project intends to highlight:
1) The hydrological phenomenon of a river, by drawing parallels between the Cauvery and the Vrishabhavathi.
2) Why does one river look so different from the other one, although they are the same hydrological phenomenon?
3) What are the consequences of a polluted river?
4) What does the Constitution say about this reality?
This is a call to all of civil society, water practitioners, and Bangaloreians to join me in this journey. Or even help me connect with resources and resourceful people who have studied this river. Please feel free to message me directly.

Old Airport Road is already choking under underpass construction. Today, traffic was completely halted for nearly 30 minutes due to the Governor’s movement. A man carrying his pregnant wife was stuck in the gridlock. When will public convenience matter as much as VIP convenience?
How stupid is this... 🤦♂️🤬

SCHOOL ON FIRE... 🔥 🔥
Chitrakoota kaushalya school in Nagadevanahalli road on fire...
It's huge but media is busy with CM chair politics. Please send emergency team and fight this fire at the earliest...

@DKShivakumar @CMofKarnataka @siddaramaiah it's school on fire.
Hope kids are safe.. we need drones to fight this kinda fire.
Cool.. India needs more of sich innovation.. not zomoto or swiggy.
Most of India's drone motors come from China.
In 2019, the founders of Vector Technics, @prudhvirajp + Karna Raj, set out to change that in a 400 sq. ft. Hyderabad office.
Today, @vectortechnics is India's largest indigenous drone motor manufacturer, producing 5k motors/month.

A man was caught on camera casually tossing chowmein plates and heaps of garbage out of his car onto the road. But when confronted, instead of feeling ashamed or cleaning it up, he arrogantly replied : “Tere baap ka road hai kya?” 🤡
People are fed up with this kind of attitude, public nuisance, and complete lack of civic sense on Indian roads. Some idiots treat public spaces like their personal dustbins and then act offended when someone calls them out.

Notice very carefully
Modi's speech is all about what citizens have to do.
Not one word about what he and his govt. will do.
Samachar samapt.
Shimla Police Personnel kicked a driver for recording a video. The officer has just been suspended and will soon be back on the job.
If a citizen had kicked a police officer, there would have been immediate arrests and FIRs filed. Why this double standard?

Approx 35% of my bonus is taken away by the govt. They just did not take 35% of the money, they took my motivation, they took my curiosity to learn, they took my hunger to earn, they took my soul away.
It will take me 7 years to get the same amount if I invest with 8% interest

Nail Trap Mafia Back in Bengaluru? Are Roads Being Turned into Profit Zones for Puncture Rackets
The menace of puncture gangs appears to be resurfacing in Bengaluru, raising serious concerns about public safety and law enforcement. Fresh reports are emerging from the stretch between Hebbal and goraguntepalya, where multiple motorists have complained about sudden tyre punctures under suspicious circumstances.Commuters have reportedly found a large number of sharp nails deliberately scattered across the road an act that strongly points toward organized malpractice rather than coincidence. These tactics are not just dishonest, but outright dangerous, as they put lives at risk, especially on busy, high-speed roads.
What’s even more alarming is the pattern behind these incidents. In many such cases, puncture repair shops are found operating nearby, leading to strong suspicions that certain individuals may be orchestrating these acts to exploit stranded motorists and make quick money. This kind of exploitation reflects a deeply unethical and criminal mindset, preying on helpless people in distress.Such cheap and illegal tricks have no place in a city like Bengaluru, which prides itself on being a major urban and technological hub. If left unchecked, this “puncture mafia” could grow into a larger organized racket, further eroding trust in public spaces.Authorities must take strict and immediate action conduct regular patrols, identify hotspots, and crack down on those involved. At the same time, citizens should remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities. Bengaluru cannot afford to let such fraudulent practices become normalized.
