12 on the 11th????? Wo, scratch that one too. A year older, but more importantly, a year lived. And for that alone, I’m grateful. Happy birthday to the guy who’s still figuring it out but somehow keeps finding his way. 🖤🥂

Left work at 4pm, spent three hours in traffic, got home at 7pm, and there’s no light. Been out since 6am BTW and now hustling to get petrol to power generator, so I could catch some rest. It’s 2026, and living in Nigeria still means battling for basic amenities after giving the country your time, energy, and a good chunk of your salary in taxes. You pay through your nose to survive, spend hours fighting traffic, and still come home to a country that cannot guarantee you electricity. And to those who spend their entire lives defending this government out of greed, remember that the consequences of your defence will not end with you. Your children and generations after them will inherit the very suffering you helped sustain. You can sell your conscience for personal gain today, but your descendants will pay the price tomorrow, by God’s grace.
i am always livid when i have had a long day and i get back home to no light, as in no light in 2026, we’re in for it tbh and i really hate it here because how’s electricity still one problem this country is still dealing with in 2026!!!!!🫠

I need people to understand that there’s a time for gist and a time for sharp, straight-to-the-point conversations. Sometimes, I might need an urgent answer or information, and that doesn’t mean I have the time to exchange pleasantries or gist at that particular moment. It doesn’t mean I don’t want to gist with you; it simply means there’s something that needs immediate attention. Believe me, when it’s time for gist, and we are both in sync (in the context of timing), na me go set the table, and shout, “HIT ME, OMO IYA MII!” 😭😂

Carrick’s coaching career at United is just him standing there looking calm while everything around him burns. The job description is basically “former player who doesn’t get sacked.”

I will do my part, show up, and exercise my right to vote. Beyond the noise, the rants, the complaints and the endless blame game, we must understand that our future also depends on what we do with the power we have. You should use your powers too because we cannot keep demanding a better Nigeria while abandoning the very process through which we can demand accountability.

If you’re still supporting and voting APC in 2026/2027, you’re wicked and everyone around you should run away from you.

Every night, they take and bring the light like 1 billion times between 7pm and 12 mid night and it doesn’t last beyond 2 minutes at intervals. Oh yes, I’m on band A and 10k gives me just 43 units. A 66 years old country BTW, 66 years of not being able to fix power talk less of other sectors. Anyways, RTIFN, bloody foooools.

One thing last night exposed is that APC loyalists know the country is badly governed. They’re not oblivious to the hardship; they’re simply hoping to benefit from the same rotten system someday. For many, it’s not about defending good governance, but protecting their chances of getting a share.

This afternoon, reports reached me that Mr. Rilwan Olawale, a strong NDC supporter, who is also identified with the Obidient movement, was allegedly picked up by some armed men who identified themselves as operatives of the Department of State Services in the very early hours of today, Sunday 25th October. The circumstances surrounding this situation are still unclear and there is no official confirmation of his exact whereabouts. However, we are in contact with his family as well as with legal counsel who are working to gain access to him and to establish the relevant facts. We urge the public to stay calm and avoid speculation for now while these and further steps are being taken to ascertain the facts, ensure that Mr Olawale’s rights are fully respected and that Justice is served.
