The Deka sign in Huntly is an actual national landmark. Deka closed nationwide in the late 90s.

In 2013... there was a ceremonial re-light up of the Deka sign in Huntly. But after a few months -dead again. Till I drove thru tonight, that is... it’s back! @waikatotimes
