Ideas for happy life
A collection of thoughts and sayings that resonated with me…Rules I try to live by:
- [ ] Everyone dealt their own cards… make the best out of your hand
- [ ] Happiness - life is never perfect so accept what you have and make the best out of it
- [ ] Positivity is infectious. Do your part to make those around you happy
- [ ] If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all
- [ ] Be a uniter not a divider
- [ ] Try to limit bitching…it does no good and is unnecessary negativity
- [ ] Surround yourself with good people-limit negative nellies
- [ ] Only use constructive criticism
- [ ] Praise in public
- [ ] Be a role model - it’s contagious
- [ ] Relationships matter - coworkers, friends & family
- [ ] People buy things in search of happiness but may not find it
- [ ] Alcohol doesn’t bring happiness but spending time with family and friends does
- [ ] When other people are not nice it is not your problem it is theirs
- [ ] Set goals and periodically review
- [ ] My glass is half full versus half empty. I am thankful for what I have and don’t dwell on what I lost
- [ ] It’s better to give than receive is a mindset. I felt more satisfaction with life when I understood this
- You may not be able to control everything that happens to you but you can control how you deal with it.

Another crushing day for Tesla in Norway 🇳🇴
Tuesday, 3 November 2026
268 Model Ys registered today.
The next best? Mercedes GLC with 17. Toyota Urban Cruiser, Cupra Raval and BYD Atto 3 Evo with 16 each.
That's 33% of all 802 EVs registered in Norway today, from one single model. 👀

And post-op was nothing but smiles! I have learned to just keep smiling through everything. Even when times get tough. When in doubt smile it out.

Neuralink + Matic 🦾
Zach is controlling Matic with his mind 🤯
Neuralink patient #22 is using his thoughts to move Matic around his home
This is incredible, @elonmusk @neuralink
I don’t know what our legislators have been doing, but my phone doesn’t work well anymore. I don’t answer valid phone calls because I usually don’t pick up numbers that aren’t in my contacts—thanks to the thousands of spam calls I get every day. Does everyone have this issue?
When someone says something unnecessarily negative I try to change the subject or leave. Constructive criticism is fine because we get better. Think about how good the world would be if that caught on.
Have you met Zach, Neurolink #22? His story is so inspiring. We met at the X Takeover. Josh West did a great job interviewing him. Listen to his story in the link below.
What’s the best Tesla right now (excluding the new Roadster and Cybercab)? The classic Roadster is where it all began. It will always be highly collectible, even if it doesn’t have FSD. The recently discontinued Model X is still a great family hauler with its spacious cabin and falcon-wing doors. The recently discontinued Model S has unmatched styling—nothing else in the lineup looks quite as elegant. The Model 3 is a sharp-looking sedan that earns high marks for efficiency and driving dynamics. The Cybertruck is high-tech, versatile, and has a fiercely loyal following among owners. In my opinion, the Model Y (and the longer YL) takes first place for overall versatility and bang for the buck. What say you?
If you a positive verified person in the Tesla community I want to follow you. You either have a Tesla or want a Tesla and/or are followed by other people in the Tesla community let me know.
What do you do as soon as you get home from purchasing a Tesla? I will tell you what I do. I apply this!
Starlink: 13.6M consumer subscribers and still growing hard.
Q3 Connectivity operating income: $2.37B at ~45% margins. It’s SpaceX’s cash cow.
Room to grow is huge. Analysts put the realistic TAM near $129B; Musk sees a path to several hundred billion a year in connectivity revenue.
Starlink Mobile is designed to challenge land-based carriers via direct-to-cell. SpaceX is buying low-band spectrum so the signal can penetrate buildings and compete more effectively.

I was all set up for halloween last night but we didn't have any halloween visitors. I don't think they like our long driveway.

My wife's first interview with me post-op and right after working with the link team and using it for the very first time.
Also, my wife said too disregard her little nickname for me lol
Which is better, solar or nuclear? Both have clear trade-offs.
Nuclear delivers steady, weather-independent power with ~90–92% capacity factors (U.S. fleet). But new plants take many years and carry high costs. Vogtle 3 & 4 in Georgia finished ~7 years late at roughly $35–37 billion for ~2.2 GW.
Solar farms use more land (often 50–75× more than nuclear for the same annual energy output once capacity factors are accounted for) but can be built in 1–2 years. Agrivoltaics is working in practice—sheep grazing under panels in Texas, crops and berries under elevated arrays in the U.S. and Europe.
The clearest edge for solar is cost per kWh. Recent unsubsidized utility-scale solar LCOE is often in the $40–70/MWh range (and competitive even lower in many places). Pairing it with batteries narrows the gap further for firm power while remaining cheaper than most new nuclear estimates.
Both can play a role; the mix depends on location, speed needed, and how much firm 24/7 power the grid requires.
